The space This private home sits just 2 blocks south of the Iowa State Fairgrounds directly south of the Swine Barn at Gate 8 and conveniently located to Downtown and the East Village, im a cozy residential neighborhood. Its décor is inspired by all things Iowa and our great state fair tradition. Everything you need for a comfortable, cozy and memorable stay is here. Guest access Entire property will be private to guests. The home as well has a private backyard space with firepit and patio. We also have a Game Shed filled with activities for all ages. Free parking on the property, room for a trailer and walking distance to the fairgrounds. Other things to note As much as we LOVE our convenient location to the Iowa State Fairgrounds, with it can come some noise. There is also a train track just down the street. We have provided each bedroom with a sound machine to hopefully lessen the impact on your stay if need be. This is home is also located in a residential neighborhood with close neighbors as you would expect in a city setting. Other than the Iowa State Fairgrounds, this neighborhood does not offer walkability to bars, restaurants or shops. Packages and mail are not accepted at this location, so please make other arrangements if necessary during your stay.
