The space Our lovingly restored bungalow features 2 cozy bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, along with a fully equipped kitchen, making it ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The open living area includes a queen pull-out couch that sleeps 2, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 6 guests. The large backyard is your private oasis for outdoor fun. But that’s not all! This property also includes: NEW✨ **Fiona the Vintage Camper**: A beautifully restored vintage camper that sleeps 2, complete with a cozy library nook for book lovers. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a good read or enjoy a quiet morning coffee. Guest access Entire property will be private to guests. The home as well has a private fully fenced backyard space with vintage camper, game shed, firepit and patio. Free parking on the property, room for a trailer and walking distance to the fairgrounds. Other things to note As much as we LOVE our convenient location to the Iowa State Fairgrounds, with it can come some noise. There is also a train track just down the street. We have provided each bedroom with a sound machine to hopefully lessen the impact on your stay if need be. This is home is also located in a residential neighborhood with close neighbors as you would expect in a city setting. Other than the Iowa State Fairgrounds, this neighborhood does not offer walkability to bars, restaurants or shops. Packages and mail are not accepted at this location, so please make other arrangements if necessary during your stay. Dog Guests Just a quick heads-up to ensure everyone (pups included!) has a great stay: While crating isn’t required, we kindly ask that you crate your dogs if they might be anxious. We do have a few extra we can bring by if you need, just send us a note with your booking to see if what we have will work for your stay. You're the best judge of your pup and their needs. For their comfort and safety, we don’t allow pets to be left alone for long periods of time. If you plan extended adventures without them, we recommend arranging a local pet sitter and we can certainly make recommendations if you need.
