We are a surrounded by magnificent views of the river as well as mountains, and 2500 acres of farm land known as The Meadows. The ever-changing, year-round beauty of the Connecticut River is the perfect home base for any visit to the Valley eg, weddings, college visits, seminars, weekend getaways, romantic retreats, etc. The house is one walkable mile to the bus stop and to the Tri-County Fairgrounds, home of the oldest continuous Fair in the US, where the Paradise City Arts Festival, Northampton Pride and horse shows are held. The bike paths are very easy to access from the house for running, walking, biking and kayaking. Bountiful, self-serve breakfast is included and can be enjoyed at your table overlooking the river. Wifi and fees are included. No pets or smoking, please. Your beautiful, comfortable room has a brand new fridge, microwave and Keurig coffeemaker. The Queen-sized bed, linens and heated mattress pad envelop you for a blissful sleep. Every season enjoy the natural wonder that surrounds my home; a rare combination of water, mountains and meadows. Watch for eagles from your tree house, with its view over the powerful Connecticut River. Visit downtown for shops, great restaurants, music venues for the sought after Northampton vibe. Guest access Your room has a large mini-fridge with small freezer compartment, a microwave, a stocked Keurig coffee maker and sundries. You will be greeted with some beverages and snacks to get you started. No one will go hungry in this house. The large deck is a great place for relaxing. Guests enjoy watching the river with a glass of wine, a good book or just the birds. The rest of the house is private. During your stay I will see you at check in and then it depends on your schedule and mine. Your room and bathroom are fully stocked and you are welcome to enjoy the deck anytime. I will provide your breakfast upon arrival, and you will have everything you need, to eat at your leisure in your room. Information on local restaurants and activities is at your fingertips. If you like, I can help narrow it down with recommendations. If you forgot something or need something, as my guests and friends will attest, I can usually produce it.
