Private Guest Suite - relax by the goldfish pond

Welcome to our peaceful home - a quiet getaway to relax and retreat. This private guest suite features your own front and back entrances plus a full bath. Your bedroom has a microwave, mini fridge, full coffee station, and desk for working. You will love our big, beautifully landscaped yard with a fire pit for smores, fire glass table, and lots of birds . A few minutes to Holbrook T station. 1/2 hr (15 m) to Boston & beaches. Summer: 23' boat for fishing or cruising charter Boston Harbor. The space This is a quiet, safe, older residential neighborhood of single family homes. The private master / guest suite is an addition onto the house, with a private front entrance / walkway, parking, and your own door to the shared backyard. Enjoy your own full bathroom with tub and towells. There is no one above you or on the sides; only one locked door connects the suite to the main house. This suite was constructed in 2019 and features all new furnishings and AC for our guests. Note: dog and cat live on property (if you have allergies) Guest access Parking in driveway is provided, with your own walkway to your private front door. Upon entering, you will find your Master bedroom. A door to back deck, with rocking chairs by the pond, opens off of the bedroom. Your full bathroom is just off of your bedroom and no one else has access to it. You are free to enjoy the backyard amenities (dining table, couches, fire glass table, swing, fire pit and grill * with approval, hose) during the day and evening, with a 10pm curfew for noise to respect our neighbors. The main house and front deck will not be accessible; including the kitchen, washer, and dryer. During your stay If you need us, just send us a text or knock on the door Other things to note Please note, when seeking a reservation and you have a guest ,must book as two adults. Our family dog, Koda, a friendly black lab, lives onsite. While the dog will not be around you, we recognize that you may want to stay elsewhere if you are afraid of dogs or are allergic. Guests must practice good water and fire safety. There is a pond onsite that is a few feet deep in places - this should be avoided by children, drunk people, and any people with mobility issues that could have trouble keeping their footing next to the pond. Grills and fire pits must be used with owner approval while owners are home. Spring water is in the frig. Ask about charter fishing the Harbor with Mike. Mike is an experienced charter fisherman who takes people out to Boston Harbor. You can sleep over, wake up and drive with Mike 20 minutes to launch the boat and fish for stripers. If you like, after you enjoy a day at sea, and have caught a striper, Mike can filet and grill your fish for you. Lastly, Michael's watercolor paintings are for sale. Guests get 50 % off.
