Grand Victorian gets Contemporary Facelift! #1
Grand Victorian gets Contemporary Facelift! #1
Description
Our home is a rather unique and very updated 100+ year old Victorian in a historic neighborhood in Medford. There is convenient access to Boston either by car or by public transportation. We hope you'll enjoy the comfy queen sleigh bed, large open dresser, and loads of other amenities our home provides. While we do offer various teas and coffee to our guests, we don’t offer breakfast or food items generally. But you may use the kitchen if you so choose! The space The home has been extensively remodeled to give it a modern touch while retaining its old world charm. In every room are trinkets and souvenirs, antique furniture, and paintings we’ve picked up on our travels. There is also a garden that wraps around the home with many mature plantings that all bloom at different times of the spring and summer. Guest access There is super high-speed Internet, loads of coffee/tea, and a fully equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen. Visitors are welcome to use any part of the house, just please be sure to clean up after you're done! During your stay I'm a long-time native of Boston and would be happy to help with advice on where to go and things to do! Other things to note I do have a small mini-golden retriever named Pippyn. He's very friendly and we keep the house pretty clean, but if you're allergic or afraid of dogs, this may not be the place for you. Also, this location might not be the best for young children as our dog does not do well with them and there are many stairs in the house. The bathroom that's pictured in the listing is a shared space used by guests in either bedroom. Most of the plants in the shower area are real so we do take care of them while people are staying in the house. We also do request guests to not wear their shoes in the house.
