Private 1-bedroom apartment suite near the Arlington/Winchester town line, Upper Mystic Lake, and conservation land. The bedroom is newly renovated and has a queen bed. Large living room. Small, functional kitchenette and eating area. Washer/dryer. Second bedroom available for additional fee. Parking in driveway for 1 car. it's a short walk to the 350 bus (~25-min ride to Alewife Red Line subway station.) Strong Wifi. TV with Roku (BYO streaming; no cable channels) The space The apartment is the bottom level of our home and it has its own separate entrance. The apartment is secure and private with the bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. There's parking in the driveway for 1 car. Access our back yard entrance by going down 10 steps and go through a gate to the back patio and pool area. You're welcome to use the pool if it's open during your stay (generally between Memorial Day and Labor Day). There's a shared entrance hallway which we sometimes use to access the backyard. Guest access You'll have exclusive use of the bedroom, living room, kitchen and dining area, bathroom. The bedroom has a window air conditioner. The rest of the rooms have fans but no air conditioning. The kitchen and dining areas are small, but functional with a full-size refrigerator, full-size electric oven/range, toaster oven, microwave and Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamers. There isn't a dishwasher. The guest suite also has a separate laundry room with washer/dryer, which we may need to use if you're staying for an extended period of time (generally more than a week and we would coordinate with you). The back entrance hallway, back patio, propane grill, ping pong table, and swimming pool are shared spaces that you're welcome to use. Please just leave the back patio gate closed as we sometimes bring our friendly dog out with us. There's a 2nd bedroom available for an additional fee. It is on the other side of the entrance hallway. Other things to note We have an in-ground pool which you're welcome to use when it's open for swimming. It is generally open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. This is not a party house so it's not meant for late night swimming (after 8:30) or parties.
