A modest shotgun-style home in the Treme just 1.3 miles from fairgrounds and 1.8 miles from the French Quarter. This Treme home is over 100 years old with high ceilings, wooden floors, floor to ceiling windows, and mosaic fireplaces. Easy access to City Park, NOMA, Fairgrounds, and Bayou Saint John. Huge backyard with garden, seating area, and an indoor/outdoor cat. The space This bedroom is filled with light, art, and antiques. There is a full-size Avacado mattress, reading chair, mirror, and chest with a lamp. The guestroom has high ceilings, wood floors and a mosaic fireplace (non-working). It is decorated with houseplants, vintage cameras, and art & literature from New Orleans based artists. The living room contains a large couch, a small love seat, and a breakfast bar with stools. The kitchen is stocked with common appliances and cookware, but I do not have a microwave. Guest access Guests will have access to the guest room, living room, bathroom, kitchen, backyard, and side porch. During your stay I am always available via text. Please do not hesitate to reach out for recommendations or questions about the house. Other things to note I have a very cuddly cat. If you do not like cats or have any allergies, this is not the right place. My bedroom is on the other side of the guest room, so we do share a wall.
