Come work or play in Waikiki! Condo located in a boutique building close to everything Waikiki has to offer, 1/2 block to the Ala Wai, 4 1/2 blocks to beach. Walk to shopping and dining on Kuhio (1/2 block) or over to Kalakaua (1 1/2 blocks). Building features a heated salt water pool and BBQ area. There is a laundry on every floor just down the hall. Includes 1 parking space in a building 1 1/2 blocks over. Parking is covered and has 24 hr security. There is also metered parking on street. Corner unit located on quieter side of building. Good breeze most days so you can enjoy the Hawaiian climate year round. The full kitchen has been recently remodeled and includes full size range and oven, microwave, large refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and disposal. Livingroom includes a couch that can double as a bed, 2 ceiling fans, and TV. Bedroom features a queen size bed, work space, large walk in closet, bookcase, ceiling fan, TV, and AC. Bath has a large shower and plenty of counter space. Lanai features a roll down shade, seating for four and is a great place to relax. Guest has the whole apartment to themselves along with use of the pool deck and laundry room. Guest also has use of one assigned parking space in a building 1 1/2 blocks over On Kaiolu between Kuhio and Ala Wai. Located a block and a half from bustling Kalakaua this neighborhood is in the quieter residential side of Waikiki just a short walk to literally hundreds of dining and shopping destinations. The beach is 3 1/2 blocks over. On your way to the beach you will go through beautiful Ft. DeRussy park with winding walkways, BBQ areas, and shaded grassy areas along the beach for when you have had your fill of sun. There is no parking at our apartment but we do offer free offsite parking with unlimited in-out privileges. Parking is located 1 1/2 blocks away and is covered and has 24 hour security. Uber and Lyft are very popular and it is rare to wait more than a few minutes to get picked up. Most places around Waikiki end up being $5- $7/ride Honolulu has a great bus system that $2.75 one way with free transfers.. A monthly pass is $70. The nearest stop is just around the corner on our block, about a 400' walk. The "Beach Bus" that goes out to Hanauma Bay and Sandy's picks up in front of Brothers in Valor Memorial in Ft Derussy on Kalakaua. Honolulu has a bike share program called Biki that allows you to pick up and drop off a bike all over the city using an app on your phone. Cost is $4.50/30 min ride or $12/ for unlimited 30 min rides in 24 hours, or $30 for 300 minutes any time over the span of a year max. The nearest racks are 1 block over on Lewers. Our favorite way to get around is on foot. You should find a store or restaurant that has what you are looking for within 5 or 6 blocks. For a "city hike" bring good walking shoes and take a stroll along the Ali Wai canal to the marina to the zoo (about 1 1/2 miles either way) Walk back along the beach and sidewalks.
