Spread out over three levels, the home features two king suites and two bunk rooms, all beautifully decorated with private bathrooms. The master suite steps it up a little with a private balcony and leather armchair in front of a fire for a perfect Big Sky retreat. Perched on the sunny slopes in Cowboy Heaven, Moonlight Mountain Homes have direct ski access to the Moonlight and Madison Base areas and are a lift ride away from endless Big Sky outdoor activities. Your luxurious mountain home is beautifully secluded yet only a ten-minute drive to Big Sky’s hub Mountain Village, and a 45-minute scenic drive to the geological wonders of West Yellowstone. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze. Ski Out: Head down the driveway and go right on Harvest Moon. At the end of the street, walk up ski access. At top of access, ski to the left onto Bootlegger Trail. This will take you to the Moonlight Lodge and the Ironhorse lift. You can also take a left off of Bootlegger onto Alpine Meadows Trail to head down to the Madison Base and Six Shooter Lift. Ski In: From the top of Iron Horse lift or Six Shooter lift, follow signs for Powder River. Ski through the concrete tunnel and PAST the first skier bridge on your right. Take a hard right turn on Natawista which is the first right after the bridge. Follow this access over two skier bridges. DO NOT turn left off the main path. Stay straight. It will transition to Bootlegger which will bring you back to the top of the access you walked up in the morning. You can ski down and back to the driveway of Moonlight Mountain Home 6 Harvest Moon. Please note that if snow is melted off road you will need to walk across the street going both in and out in order to get to the ski access or house.
