Updated, 836 sq. ft. two-bedroom bungalow in Quincy Point. Right off Rt 3A, easy access north to Boston or south towards the South Shore. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a full. Second bedroom also has a desk with monitor for WFH. One full bath. Lots of space in the living room and dining room, too. Full kitchen, including dishwasher. Weber grill and nice front porch to sit and relax. Basement has washer/dryer and some basic gym equipment, including spin bike. The space This is my own home, not some non-descript, commercial Airbnb. With that, you can expect some character! The house is over 100 years old, with many original details including built-ins, nice woodwork, and the original wood floors. Because of their age, the floors are definitely creaky! The house has a Nest thermostat and is heated by oil/baseboards (common in this area, if you're from New England you know that means you can hear a bit of noise when the heat kicks on). I've done my best to decorate the house well; it definitely has a nautical theme, with many pieces I've collected from travels over the years. The house is adjacent to a relatively busy intersection (Southern Artery), so please do be prepared to hear a bit of traffic during rush hour / sirens sometimes if an ambulance is trying to get through. This house is perfect for someone who might be looking to crash somewhere while waiting to move into a new place or for someone in town for a wedding or other sort of event. Guest access My driveway can hold three cars with tandem parking. There is also plenty of street parking. The bus to Quincy Center picks up right at the end of the street - a 1-2 minute walk. Or, you can walk 1.1 miles to the T. Other things to note As mentioned previously, I live in this property and list it when I'm out of town for work or travel. As such, I ask that guests are respectful of the property and my neighbors. I will move my personal effects to the basement or the garage so that you have full access to closet and storage space.
