Any questions please feel free to contact us first. Aloha! Stay at Our Local peaceful private Studio bedroom suite attached to our house with separate entrance is the perfect getaway spot to experience real beauty of Oahu. Enjoy your own private studio with bathroom and shared semi private outdoor deck. Enjoy gazing at the river and the fresh air. Located on the North East Shore, escape the noise of Honolulu and enjoy the quiet, secluded, serene beaches and hikes nearby. We Like to respect your Vacation time Space. We will say hello if we see you in passing or if we are out tending to the Garden out front / Feeding Chickens. We do stay off our side of the back Patio deck while guests are staying so you do feel like it's all your space and have your Privacy. "If We see you have left the APT for the day" It's possible - We May water some plants on our side and or let the little one play in his sandbox for a little bit. If we hear you arrive when we are out back we will come back in and let you have your privacy :) The Neighborhood is on the windward side with Mountainous back drops and steady breezes majority of the time. Its just locals in the country and Its pretty quiet and super safe. Our home / your Apt is on an river estuary originally used as a Hawaiian fishing pond. Being on the water is so peaceful, whether looking down at the fish or just sitting out on the deck in the breeze with a drink. The river is not a place for swimming but thats why we love having the ocean so close to our home for a quick dip or some fun beach time. Although due to recent heavy storms our beach directly at end of our street has eroded so you have to walk 5 min down to get to more open area but you can still access nice snorkeling out front. Remember we are in the country there are also wild roosters, chickens, mongoose and the occasional river birds - parrots nearby. A rental car is highly recommended for our area, however with one of the best bus systems in the nation, you can get around just fine. The bus just takes a lot longer to reach your destination. It stops right down the street from our house, so you can conveniently head North to Turtle Bay or Haleiwa, or head south to Kailua, Airport ( FYI the local Bus does not accept large luggage from Airport), or Waikiki. We include a parking spot on our property, so you can rest easy knowing your car is safe. Ask us about best time to drive around the island and traffic hours for weekend and weekdays. It really helps to make the most out of your trip when you save time not sitting in traffic. The easiest way to get to our house from the airport, is to hop on the H1 east to the H3 Wilson Tunnel, exit on Kehekeli Hwy and then head north on to Kamehameha Hwy. until you reach our home. It's about 50 minutes away, and the most beautiful drive on the island.
