Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze. Ski Out: Step out the front door and go to the right along the deck to Natawista Trail behind the home. Take Natawista Trail and veer to the left over the bridge to Drover Trail. Then take Cinnabar to Madison Base at Moonlight Basin. Alternatively you can also stay on Natawista Trail to Bootlegger Bridge. Then follow the signs to Moonlight Lodge to get to Iron Horse and Big Sky Resort. Ski In: From the top of Iron Horse lift or Six Shooter lift, follow the signs to Powder River Run (See trail map). Once on Powder River, take the skier tunnel on left side of run. Go past the first right-turn skier bridge. Take second right turn onto Natawista Run. back to the house (first one on the right after the Natawista skier bridge). Alternatively, from the top of the Pony Express lift, take a right and cross Powder River run. Ski under the ski bridge and take the second right to Natawista. The 1st house on the right at the bottom of Natawista bridge will be your Moonlight Basin Lodging. Parking: Single car garage Space for 2 vehicles No parking for R.V.'s, campers, or trailers
