Housatonic is a few miles from downtown Great Barrington. We're walking distance from Housatonic's café, library, pub, organic farm store, playground, bakery & swimming hole. Use this gem as homebase for exploring the endless art, music & nature of the magical Berkshires - or never even leave the neighborhood! The space Downstairs: This cozy, newly renovated old house has an open kitchen/living room with skylights, a fun kids’ room with loft bed, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom with washer/dryer and shower /tub. Upstairs: Up the narrow staircase is a large sunny bedroom with queen bed, desk, and en suite bathroom with shower. Outside: The front porch is a great place to sip your coffee and stare at the mountains. The back has a kids’ zip line, surfboard swing, fire pit and great little gas grill. We are major organic gardeners; during high season help yourself to whatever you find - possibly strawberries, tomatoes, kale, zucchini, cucumbers, flowers and herbs.
