Description

Tired of city chaos & overwhelming social media? If you long for solitude, the sound of rustling leaves, gently falling rain, cool breezes, crashing waves & rustic sunsets… You’ve found it here, on the southern shores of Hawaii. Live amongst the locals & experience authentic Aloha spirits. Natural Green Sand Beach is down the road. Giant turtle nests nearby on a Black Sand Beach. Hawaii’s pristine coastlines, water falls & an active volcano beckons your inner explorer. E Komo Mai 🌺 The space Your base camp to relax & recharge; a true home away from home. The property has everything that your family needs for a comfortable extended stay. You will have full access and share it with no one else (please do not sublet). Six adults will fit comfortably & nine in a pinch. It will be cleaned professionally before your arrival & after you leave. Construction completed January of 2022 so the place still smell new. Everything in it is new & functional: furniture, appliance, cookware, silverware, utensil, bedding. Everything. Pantry is stocked with spices. Kitchen is equipped with all tools to cook (and host) decadent meals from scratch for a minimum of 8. The house has high speed internet & mesh Wifi. Work space is setup for serious productivity with a height adjustable desk & high-end ergonomics chair, 4K monitor; just bring your laptop. Situated at 1,400ft elevation & facing East: you’ll get a constant supply of fresh mountain air & cool trade winds (from the front of the house) year round. It is never hot at night & most part of the day; humidity is very low (comparing to Kona & Hilo) due to the higher elevation. We receive just the right amount of rain; typically 2-3 times per week for about 30-90 minutes each time. More than Kona (almost never) but much less than Hilo (daily). You should pack a long sleeve sweater & PJ for night time, as the temperature could drop into the mid 50’s (at night). It does get a little hot during the middle of July to August between 1-3pm (mid 80’s); simply turn on the fans, open all windows & you’ll get the cool trade winds or head to the nearest beach to cool down 🏝 The house has floor AC units for each room, just incase you need it. We have contacts on the island (in the adjacent connecting lot) for emergencies but call or message us first if you run into any kind of trouble or have questions. Mahalo Guest access We will give you a customized access code (4 digits) that will work on all entry doors for the duration of your stay. Your entry code & wifi password is unique to your stay; the previous ones are destroyed for safety. Other things to note Good discount for longer stays (weekly or monthly). If you are staying longer than a week, there is no trash services on the island. Normally, the locals take it to the “transfer station”. Don’t worry, we can arrange someone to pick up trash for you if you notify us in advance. Will save you the trouble! You will need a 4x4 car to get around. All photos are taken using our phone camera, un-edited. Hawaii is genuine in its beauty, as captured. Registration Details TA-133-590-3744-01
