Lovely Cape Minutes to Boston & All NE Day Trips

Located in one of the most desirable suburbs of Boston, Wellesley is a gorgeous community with marked walking trails and a quaint town center with specialty shops and a vast array of diverse restaurants . We are an easy 20 minute drive to Boston! Our property has easy on/off access to I-95 (Rt 128) & is a 3 minute drive to I-90 (Mass Pike) which allows for easy day trips all over NE. There is something here for everyone! We are committed to giving our guests a 5-star experience & accommodations. The space As you open the front door, you are warmly welcomed by an intimate and soothing sitting room nestled with relaxing seating. This space is perfect for getting away for some light reading or enjoying quiet talks away from the larger busier areas. Moving through, you will enter our spacious open-concept area which includes our kitchen, dining area and Great Room. Our very well-appointed kitchen has everything you need. We have every type of cooking and baking pan, serving dishes, utensils, wine glasses, etc. We have a toaster, waffle maker, air fryer, crock pot, tea kettle, etc. We also provide basic spices for your convenience. For our coffee lovers, we provide Starbucks, Lavazza and other varieties of K-cups for the Keurig. We provide Illy, Lavazza and other varieties of Nespresso pods for the espresso machine. We also have a regular drip coffee maker *UPON REQUEST.* Coffee is not provided for drip machine. For our fellow tea lovers, we provide a wide assortment of regular teas and herbal teas for your enjoyment. This space also boasts a gorgeous 8' barnwood dining table with seating for ten. This space is ideal for playing games and puzzles (we have A LOT of games and puzzles for your enjoyment!) or just enjoying indoor dining. Bringing babies or children? No need to worry about them getting bored during their stay. We have sterilized baby and toddler toys, books and puzzles; a plethora of games, art supplies, puzzles, Legos, blocks, books, and so much more to keep all children occupied and happy. *We simply ask that you request these items in advance if you will be needing them. For those who prefer outdoor activities, we have an extensive assortment of outdoor sports equipment to play soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, pickle ball, football, Frisbee, wiffle ball, bocci, cornhole, etc. Wellesley has nearby tennis courts, baseball fields, pickle ball courts, and children's outdoor play equipment. We provide an adjustable high chair; a pack and play to use as a crib, bassinet and changing table (sheets and blankets included); an exersaucer; a stroller for infants and older toddlers; a baby car seat (doesn't expire until 2029); an infant rocker; a baby bath; and sterilized rattles and infant/baby toys. We also have a lot of sterilized toddler toys as well. *Again, please request these items in advance if you would like me to put them out for you* Continuing into the Great Room, you will discover spacious and adequate seating for everyone with two large sofas and four accent chairs. This space is ideal for playing games or watching movies all together on our 70" Roku TV. Outside, off of the family room, is one of the highlights of our home- our extra large deck. Here, there is plenty of lounge seating under the shaded pergola as well as in the sun. Our deck is perfect for BBQs on the oversized 6-burner propane grill and dining under the warm summer sky. When the sun sets, be sure to turn on the fire pit (please keep children away as it gets very hot!), sip a glass of wine, relax and enjoy the dancing of the fireflies in the backyard. This will become one of your favorite spots for sure. **We have our yard treated for fleas, ticks and mosquitos; however, since no treatment is 100% effective, we highly recommend applying mosquito spray or lotion with deet for added protection if you're going to be outside starting at dusk. *We also highly recommend lighting (adults only) the provided citronella lamps if you are outside on the deck at night. **Please be very careful and use extra caution with the citronella lamps and keep them away from anything flammable and all children**. On the main floor is the King Master suite which boasts a luxurious California King pillow-top bed. There is plenty of storage to unpack and hang your clothes to feel right at home. There is a Roku TV for watching your streaming services The bright ensuite has a granite vanity and a tub with a shower. We provide high quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer and a hair-straightener. Our towels are hotel premium x-large bath sheets. **We kindly ask all guests to use the black makeup towels to remove any and all makeup to avoid staining the other towels.** Down the hall is an inviting single bedroom with a twin bed and quaint reading space that has proven irresistible to any bookworm. We've even had guests who loved the chair so much that they went out and bought one for their own home (Ikea😉)! Across the hall is the 2nd full-bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a blow dryer and hotel premium x-large bath sheets. **Again, we kindly ask all guests to use the black makeup towels to remove any and all makeup to avoid staining the other towels.** Upstairs on the second floor on the right, you will find a bedroom with a luxurious and glorious pillow-top queen-size bed. This room boasts a make-up vanity with a device charging station and plenty of storage space for clothes. Across the hall is the office with a full desk, basic office supplies, a printer, a shredder and plenty of privacy and space to work. As a musician, sometimes I just want to get away, put on my headphones and play soft ballads on my keyboard. So, for our guest musicians, there is a full-size keyboard (with weighted keys, of course) located in the office for those times when you just want to escape and have some quiet music time (you can put on the noise canceling headphones so nobody can hear you or go unplugged and play for the whole house to hear😁). **We kindly ask that you don't allow your children to play on the keyboard ** A little walk down the hall, you will find a spacious bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a twin bed. This room has a lot of storage and hanging space. There is a large Roku TV to watch your streaming services. **For children, we provide a bed rail guard for the top bunk if requested.** Right next door is another spacious bedroom with a queen-size pillow-top bed with a soft, inviting duvet. There is a desk for some light work and a large Roku TV. There is a wall to wall closet for clothes storage. *Every bedroom has extra pillows and blankets in their closets.* Upstairs is also the large 3rd full bathroom with a stand up shower, double vanity and separate toilet room. There is a lot of space for getting ready for the day along with the privacy of a separate toilet closet. We provide high quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a blowdryer and hotel premium bath sheets. **Again, we kindly ask all guests to use the black makeup towels to remove any and all makeup to avoid staining the other towels.** In the basement is the laundry room with the washer and dryer. "Fragrance-free and dye-free" washing detergent, fabric softener, bleach, and dryer sheets are provided. In the basement are also our private storage rooms that are strictly off-limits to all guests as indicated. We kindly ask that you please, please respect our privacy and private property and do not open any doors, rooms or areas that are marked "Private" or "Restricted." Most of these doors are not locked. **We deeply thank you, in advance, for your trustworthiness and integrity by respecting our private property and spaces.** Guest access Our home is nestled on a little quiet dead-end street conveniently located off of Route 9 West. Our home with immediate easy on-off access to I-95, I-93, I-90 and Rt. 9 has proven to be extremely helpful to our guests and will take you anywhere you want to go (literally!). We are an easy 1/2 mile from two public transportation stations (the T) in case you don't want to drive into the City. We are less than five minutes to the closest hospital and two exits off of I-90 (Mass Pike) which will take you directly into Boston in less than 20 minutes. For buying groceries, Wellesley has Whole Foods and Roche Brothers. Your groceries can be delivered before your arrival if you choose. I can be here to receive them and put all refrigerated and frozen items away. Another grocery store that delivers is Stop and Shop in Natick and Wegmans in Westwood. There are 2 CVS stores, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Cafe Nero Cafe, spas, salons, boutiques, and a plethora of diverse cuisine. Wellesley has everything you need. Our home is truly the ideal location for any NE day trips. Take a day to the stunning lakes and mountains of New Hampshire; the historic and opulent mansions of Newport; the sandy beaches and breathtaking hydrangeas of Cape Cod; the historic Plymouth Plantation and Plymouth Rock; the exquisite cliffs and magical uniqueness of Martha's Vineyard; the glorious lighthouses of Maine; and the balmy beaches of Nantucket. There is so much to do and it's all so close! Other things to note We have a portable fenced-in backyard. Only registered guests are allowed on the premises and, due to neighborhood regulations, there is a 10:00 pm noise curfew that prohibits loud outside noise that can disturb our wonderful neighbors. Please be respectful of them. Air conditioning is available in every room (except the office) June through mid-September. If you have any special requests before your arrival, please let us know and we will do our very best to make it happen for you. We hope to see you and get the privilege to host you!
