You are in nature so you will hear/ see birds , coqui frogs, chickens, roosters, cats, wild pigs ( which are harmless unless you approach them with their babies )and dogs, not necessarily all on our property. We treat our house every month for bugs/ pests / fire ants which is very common on the whole island. We do our best to keep bugs out of the house , please just keep in mind you are in the tropics and the country so if you need all windows / doors closed all the time and absolutely detest bugs / geckos this really is not the place for you and we recommend a more resort type area. Our property has a gate that you may lock , we do not require it to be closed.
