Hollyhock Cottage

This cozy little cottage is an updated 1914 Craftsman style home that is just the right size for the single person, couples or small families (2 adults, 1 child ) while visiting this historical area. It is perfect for the business man/business woman that need a short stay or for an extended time. After a long day of driving, touring or business, you will want a comfy place to come home to. The space Hollyhock Cottage was originally purchased from a catalog. It features the classic Craftsman home columns and curio cabinet/bookcase so unique to the Craftsman design. This Craftsman includes the following: The kitchen has all the essentials and has an adjoining original pantry/broom closet. The washer and dryer are in a curtained space in the kitchen. There is one bathroom with a shower only. It adjoins the bedroom #1 with a queen bed. This bedroom features a closet, 6 drawers and laundry hamper, a linen cabinet with a drawer to store extra pillows, blankets, towels/linens, and an antique sit-down vanity that the ladies are sure to like. Bedroom #2 is a very small room with single bed with narrower width than a standard single bed. The bed size is a good fit for children, but may be too small for adults. Guest access Whole house. Other things to note Just a note about the 2nd very small bedroom. It has a single bed that is narrower than a standard single bed. There are a few items to take notice of in cottage and are posted where needed for smooth working order. Please leave a note or text me if something is not working. While we don’t charge a cleaning fee, we do request that the dishes be washed and to cleanup spillovers in oven as well as racks. You can leave your garbage/trash bags on the back porch or deposit in black bins located at back shed side house. Please do not let your child eat on furniture and cleanup after them as we want a well kept and clean cottage for next guest.
