The estate is located a 3-minute drive from Stockbridge Village and less than 15 minutes to Lenox, Great Barrington, and Ski Butternut. This historic home, with sweeping views of the Berkshire mountains & acres of manicured grounds, offers a true getaway. Heated pool is available from June to early-October (weather dependent). Minimum stay of 3 nights. Summer 2024 is booked. The first floor has an upgraded kitchen, formal living & dining rooms, library, and family room. A favorite feature is the wraparound glassed-in porch complete with multiple seating areas and dining table. The seating area in the kitchen has a working wood-burning fireplace. A large deck is located off of the kitchen, with an available grill and seating area. There are 4 bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor. The gracious master suite has excellent views of the Berkshire & Taconic mountain ranges, a soaking tub overlooking the formal gardens, separate shower and dual vanities. A game room on the 3rd floor completes the home. There is also a TESLA charger located in the garage! While I will not be in town, I have a co-host and property manager who live in neighboring towns and are available to assist. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of arts and culture throughout the Berkshires. From the Norman Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood, Naumkeag and The Mount to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center and the Berkshire Theatre Festival (just to name a few), there is much to enjoy for any visitor, during all seasons, in one of the most unique and naturally beautiful areas of the country. Stockbridge is 2 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. The estate is located about 15 minutes from either exit 1 or 2 of the Mass Pike (i90). Pittsfield Airport, which accommodates private air travel is 20 minutes away. 1 hour to Albany International Airport (ALB) and 1 hour 15 minutes to Hartford International Airport (BDL).
