Unwind at this casual lakeside home with endless views. Play on your favorite watercraft, retreat to the deck to grill your favorite meals and soak in the views. Explore the Beartooth Highway and take a day-trip to Yellowstone National Park. During the winter, meander down to the ice for some fishing or head to Red Lodge Ski Area to get some turns (40-minute drive away). Downtown Red Lodge is less than 30 minutes away and offers great shopping, unique local bars, and even better restaurants. The space The Property: The house sits on Cooney Reservoir just above the Marshall Cove Day Use Area and Campground, which are a part of Cooney State Park. The property is also directly bordered by state land to the North/Northwest. The deck offers spectacular views of the lake as well as the Beartooth Mountains. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware, cookware, seasonings, condiments, oils, and - most importantly - coffee and tea. Guest access WiFi/Roku Smart TV: We use Starlink Satellite Internet at the house, which works great for streaming your favorite shows or for getting work done. The living room’s Roku TV is set to Guest Mode, so feel free to login to any of your accounts, as the TV will automatically remove your credentials from the device on the date you specify. Other things to note Downtown Roberts, MT: less than a 15-minute drive away Downtown Red Lodge, MT: less than a 30-minute drive away Billings, MT: less than a 1-hour drive away Beartooth Highway: The Beartooth Highway is a scenic stretch of highway between RedLodge and Yellowstone National Park, and includes the Beartooth Pass. Yellowstone National Park: Yellowstone is a great place to view wildlife or geysers, fish, hike, or camp. Plan on at least a 2-hour drive between Red Lodge and the Northeastern Entrance to Yellowstone (longer if you make frequent stops).
