This private 66 acre estate on a wooded bluff offers a spectacular 55-mile view of pristine, 35 acre Bootjack Lake as well as the mountain ranges beyond. The 4500+ sq. ft. custom log, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath lodge is bordered by the Flathead National Forest and 4200 ft of private lake frontage. Be ready for Trophy Trout Fishing, Kayaking, Canoeing and SUP's, picnics and swimming! Use of the owner`s canoe is available for guest enjoyment! Inside:  There are a total of 4 bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms with 1 king in the master, 2 queen bedrooms, and 1 double/full bedroom, as well as a pull out sofa bed in the main family room.  On the 3rd level of the home you will find the spacious master king bedroom with a view for miles and a full bath with separate walk-in shower as well as a whirlpool tub. The main floor of the lodge consists of a formal dining room, great room with massive rock wood burning fireplace, a large kitchen with modern appliances, a half bath, and family room with entertainment center (big screen satellite television, DVD, stereo). On the lowest level downstairs is another television/family area, complete with another wood burning fireplace. The other three bedrooms are also downstairs, one of which is en-suite with the bathroom including claw foot bathtub. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a wonderful steam shower. The lodge is furnished with comfortable furniture and is nicely air-conditioned in summer. After a day of adventure, relax in the private hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake and mountains, and take in the stunning views while listening to the loons on the lake in the evening. Bootjack Lake Lodge is a fantastic and classic Montana experience. The world class ski resort at Whitefish Mountain Resort is a lovely 18 mile drive from the lodge, with magnificent Glacier National Park a short 35-mile day trip. After an adventurous day, sit in the hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake and mountains or sit in the swing at the top of the bluff is a great place to sit, read and enjoy the view, or just listen to the loons in the evening. Transporation is needed to access this property, you travel along a dirt road and in the winter 4-wheel drive is highly recommended. Please note, this property is on it`s own large acreage and you get there by driving on unpaved road for about 2.8 miles. The property connects to thousands of acres of National Forrest. Please enjoy walking around the property (remember your bear spray) and taking in all the nature. We own the dock that you can see from the deck and there is a canoe by the dock for your enjoyment (life jackets and oars are in the house). If it is not too hot, try out the amazing two-story fireplace (should be firewood on the front porch). Finally, please enjoy the steam shower in the basement, the hot tub, the dock, the lake, and most importantly the amazing views. A couple of tips if you have never stayed in a house in the woods. Please do not leave doors or windows open at night. Bats, bugs, and other critters can and will join you on your vacation. Please keep the hot tub covered when not in use so that pinecones and other tree debris do not fall into it and destroy the jet motors. The hot tub is professionally maintained, and the service team may visit while you are there (they will use the deck stairs and not bother you). When you use the washer and dryer, please keep the washer open after use so that the inside can dry. Finally, for the shower in the basement, please open the top glass after use so that the shower can properly vent and dry.
