You can walk or ride bikes to most places, and the Island’s best beaches and restaurants are a very short walk from the house. Sailing, Tennis & PICKLEBALL are ONE block away at The Jetties! Paddle-board rentals and lessons are just a 5 minute walk down from our beach across the street. Everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation is right here ready for you. Gorgeous gardens designed by The Sconset Gardener surround the property; and beach chairs, towels & picnic baskets are all ready to go. When you are home from the beach, enjoy the custom outdoor shower on the veranda off the first floor bedrooms. Face west for peaceful Nantucket sunsets sitting on second floor deck off the living area, lounge on elegant veranda downstairs, or star-gaze on the roof walk. Restaurants Lola 41, family-friendly Sand Bar, & elegant Galley Beach all short walk. For dining in, there’s a gas grill on the deck off the 2nd floor living room. At evening’s end, you’ll be able to see the Milky Way in Nantucket’s famously dark night sky, watch a movie in the first floor library nook, and enjoy the superior comfort of luxe linens and beds. Guest access The entire house, and its immediate grounds which are on the south-side of our property are yours for your private use; including 2 of the 3 deeded parking spots off Walsh Street (owner reserves one of these pull-over parking spots in the pull-over driveway on Walsh). Other things to note *Parents should be aware for younger children of the many stairs in this 3 floor + roof-walk home, with second-floor decks spanning the length, the open banisters on the 3rd floor bridge, and the ease of the roof walk’s access at this airy, modern Beach House. By reserving this house, you are agreeing to be aware of these aspects of this house for yourself, family and guests. Child-proofing is the responsibility of the parents/guardians and should not be permanently altering to the physical house. Each guest must sign the House & Town Rules addendum prior to their stay, and adhere to the Town of Nantucket’s Strict Noise and Light Bylaws. *Massachusetts requires an additional 11.7% state and local tax which is required by law to be paid via a request for additional funds via Airbnb. This is a tax that was enacted as of 1/1/19 for short stays (similar to a hotel tax). It is not part of the rental rate. Beginning in 2025, an additional 3% Community Impact Fee applies as well. *The primary renter must be at least 30 years old for this property. * All reservations are acknowledgement that these terms are agreed upon.
