This bay-side beauty is conveniently located in the heart of Barnegat Light, a block away from the beach. It sits on a large lot with a private backyard that is perfect for enjoying a private beach getaway or entertaining friends and family. We've owned this property for 15 years and rented our former house. Reviews before 2025 are about the prior house but same owner. This NEW house was built in 2025! The space This bay-side beauty is conveniently located in the heart of Barnegat Light, a block away from the beach. It sits on a large lot with a private, tree lined backyard that is perfect for enjoying a private beach getaway or entertaining friends and family. The house was newly renovated with an open layout, new kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel fridge, gas stove, microwave, oven and dishwasher. There are new hardwood floors throughout the main living space and new carpets in each bedroom as well as new furniture and central air. The house was purchased and renovated for personal use but the owners moved out of state and are now renting it. Once you climb a few steps to a covered porch with outdoor shower and enter the house, you are welcomed by a first floor bedroom with queen bed and detached bathroom. You will also find a closet filled with traditional board games and puzzles perfect for night-time entertainment. On the second floor, you will find an expansive living room/dining room/kitchen with a bookshelf filled with classic adult and childrens books for your beach reading. The living room opens up to an large deck overlooking the private, tranquil, pine tree lined back yard. There is a Weber Genesis gas grill perfect for grilling fresh caught fish, burgers or your favorite vegetables. Enjoy your grilled selection on the new teakwood table and chairs. The third floor has two more bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry area. The larger master has a king size bed and TV while the adjacent bedroom has twin bunk beds and a full size bed. There is a second deck perfect for reading a book or enjoying a cold iced tea just steps away from the bedrooms. If you are looking to cuddle up with your favorite book or to unwind after a day on the beach, there is a TV in the master bedroom and living room. The house is situated a few blocks from Viking Village where you will find ice cream, coffee, a fresh fish store and plenty of island shopping. Walk in the other direction and you will find a playground, tennis courts, the Light House and plenty of restaurants to enjoy brunch or dinner if you don't want to cook at home. After a day at the beach you can wash off in the outdoor showers and enjoy WiFi and two TVs located throughout the house. Finally, you can avoid Saturday traffic with Friday to Friday rentals. Eight beach chairs and an umbrella are included with the house for your use on the beach. Other amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible: iron/ironing table, DVD player, CD player/radio, Nesporesso machine (small pods), and hair dryers. Guest access The entire house is yours!
