North River Suite, between Boston & Cape Cod

Beautiful, spacious one room suite /apartment; river /forest views. Romantic, quiet setting only 10 minutes to beaches; 30-40 minutes from Boston /Plymouth /Cape Cod. Guests describe as “SUPER clean;” an ideal "Base Camp," with “Great Beds,” for multi-day, multi-purpose visits to the Boston area. Newport, RI. Fall colors are easy drives. Private entrance to 10-window, light-filled, entire second floor suite (600+sq ft); perfect for a family, separate from main house; access all hours. The space Guests have described the space as "amazing," "very clean," "bright and large," "charming" with "a bed so comfortable you don't want to get out of it." It feels so far away from any city, yet it is only 25 miles to Boston. The suite has two very comfortable beds (one queen & one twin in the same large room) The smooth sheets and lovely comforter covers are all made of high thread-count, 100 percent cotton fabric! A Deluxe Queen Aerobed (20" high with built-in pump) may be set up if requested ahead of time for extra guests ( $27 per person after the first two people). The suite also has a private bath with fluffy cotton towels and a great shower; Wifi. The kitchenette area offers a microwave, coffee maker and toaster, as well as a small fridge stocked with water, coffee and cream. There are two small couches, an easy chair, desk, coffee table, several chairs, lamps and and standing lights for your use. We have scored a PERFECT 5 out of 5 on cleanliness from the last 40+ guests. We make it our highest priority to ensure the space is as clean and comfortable as possible for you. Heat, AC & full-time emergency generator: Guests control their own room temperature with a separate, responsive & reliable furnace and two window AC units. Visitors also appreciate our built-in gas generator which automatically kicks in and powers everything in the event of a local area power loss. Free off- street parking (2 spots if requested) for guests. Normally, we ask guests to park in front of the RIGHT garage door, by the wooden anchor. The very private apartment suite is reached by way of a set of steps from a side entrance in a separate newer garage/boat house building. The large (600+ sq foot), meticulously appointed studio apartment (one room with high ceiling) is filled with natural light from the ten multi-pane windows on all four walls that overlook woods, stone walls, lawns, bird feeders and the North River. custom blinds allow one to darken the room, if desired. Guest access Guests have private access 24 hours/day and use of the entire suite ( one large room - 600 square foot of space) above our extended two car garage/boat house, with the exception of one small storage closet (next to the window AC). There is a large double door closet in the suite available for guests to hang clothes and/or use for suitcase storage. Guests have access to lawn chairs and small table located on front covered walkway. They may choose to sit in the back yard in the area closest to the suite to watch the birds, or in the front yard to catch a river view,. Other things to note FREE delivery of PIZZA from Mount Blue. close to Dunkin' Donuts, Panera Bread, Gunther Tooties Bagel, and the Tinker's Son Irish Pub; each less than 5 miles away!! Boat/kayak rentals available on the North River, offshore charter fishing trips from Scituate or Green Harbor.
