On the main deck or in the Breakfast Room - a daily made farm to table breakfast - Freshly ground coffee, onsite baked muffins, juice, fresh fruit, choice of entree. The space Private decks with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. A 50 minute ferry ride to New York City - allows the opportunity to all NYC has to offer - while costs can remain reasonable. 8 miles of ocean beaches, (summer beach passes included), Twin Lights and Sandy Hook Lighthouses, Hiking and Biking Trails in Hartshorne Woods, and Antiquing in the area are highlights. Great area restaurants featuring fresh seafood, international cuisine, or casual dining all on the waterfront. Guest access Guests have a private room with an attached private bath. They share the living room, the breakfast room, the main deck with a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. There is a large yard for picnics and for pets. There is private offsite parking in front of the B&B. There are deer which frequent the area. During your stay We are available onsite to help with questions and to provide information on places to go. Local menus are kept for your use. We have full cable TV and WIFI and can help with them, if needed. We're here to make sure you stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Other things to note The Seastreak Ferry service is available from Highlands to New York City. There is a published daily and weekend schedule. It stops in the midtown area - 35th street on the east side and in downtown at the Wall Street area. There is Hartshorne Woods which is 700+ acres with trails for biking and Hiking and is great for dog walking. Sandy Hook has 4 miles of sandy beaches with bathroom facilities and food trucks. The Sandy Hook Light House is near the end of the peninsula. The Twin Lights of Navesink Light House is on the hill overlooking Sandy Hook and the ocean.
