Conveniently located on 28 with just a short walk to the beach, this home showcases colonial craftsmanship with the original wood floors and fireplaces. Two restaurants a stones throw away, the Cape Cod Rail Trail down the street and only a five minute drive to downtown Chatham or Harwich Port. The space One of the oldest houses on Cape, The Captain Kimball house is sure to fully immerse you in the history of colonial Cape Cod with slanted floors and narrow stairways. How often are able to stay in a house that was built (1735) before the United States even existed? (1776). Guest access Guest will have the second floor of the house with a private entrance. All downstairs doors are locked for guest privacy. Other things to note The Captain Kimball House offers guests 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a living room area all on the second floor to enjoy during their stay. The property is located on Main St. so some traffic noise is unavoidable. There is no kitchen in the space, but there is a refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser and coffee maker found in the common room. There is also a smart TV to stream all of your favorite shows. New this year we installed air conditioning!
