This Cabin is located on the N. end of Flathead Lake with easy access to Lakeside, Kalispell, Whitefish, Big Fork, Somers and just 45 minutes from the entrance to Glacier Park. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, washer, dryer, WIFI, loaner canoe this home is a perfect base camp to explore beautiful northwest Montana. The space Escape to this lakefront home on Flathead Lake. The home has spectacular views of the Lake and Rocky Mountains. BBQ on the deck, play in the water, use the loaner canoe and enjoy a fire by the lake side fire pit. 68 feet of your own private beach. You can boat, swim, sail or fish right off the beach and dock. There is a covered boat lift which can hold a boat up to 2500 pounds. A picnic table, lounge chairs and fire pit are at the water's edge for your relaxation and enjoyment. Loaner canoe on the beach for your use. Please bring your own wood. Need to work or go to school remotely? The home has high speed internet, wifi and different workspaces. Plus, it is the perfect location on the north end of Flathead Lake to explore Kalispell, Somers, Lakeside, Bigfork, Polson, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Glacier Park. Glacier National Park is just 42 miles away. Take a day trip to one of the most spectacular places in the Rocky Mountains for hiking, sightseeing, taking pictures or whitewater rafting. Don’t forget to get some huckleberry ice cream while you are there. This 2-bedroom, one bathroom, plus a den, cabin is approximately 1600sf. On the main level is the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, laundry room and the large primary bedroom. The spacious deck is also on the main level. The master bedroom has a California King bed, TV, couch and a sliding glass door that opens onto the deck. The living room has a queen-sized futon and a work desk in it. Downstairs are two additional rooms. One of the rooms has a queen-sized bed and a door to the outside. The other room has a double sized hide-a-bed couch and a twin bed. You have to walk through this room to access the room with the Queen bed. A portable crib and highchair and booster chair are available. TV/DVD/Cable and loaner movies are in the living room. High speed internet and Wi-Fi are available throughout the home. There are stairs (23 steps) to get from the parking to the home. There are stairs from the home to the private beach (53 steps). This home is not for everyone as there are stairs to get to the home and stairs to get to the lake. The home has one toilet. The shower in the bathroom is small. However, there is a larger area outside of the toilet and shower room that has another decent sized vanity, sink, mirror and bathtub. During the months of May,June, July, August and September I have a portable toilet on the property so that there is another toilet available. The stairs to go to the downstairs rooms are steep and narrow. * This home no longer has a hot tub* Flathead Lake water fluctuates; it's possible you may not be able to secure your boat on the dock during the months of Nov.-May. With these things said, if you choose to rent this home knowing these things, you will not be disappointed by the views, the lake front, the deck and the comfort of the property. We hope to see you soon. We strive to make your time away from home comfortable and enjoyable. For your safety and ours, the home is equipped with an outside Ring Video Doorbell, located by the door. Guest access The whole house and property. Other things to note PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING. Shovels are at the home. It is the guest's responsibility to shovel the stairs and walkways in the winter. *This home no longer has a hot tub*
