Airbnb took my Super Host status away for this quarter because I didn't have enough "stays." That's because I was hosting a long-term renter. I've been a Super Host for over 5 years! MY HOME IS SUPER CLEAN! Beautiful, private bedroom with attached 3/4 bathroom in basement. Must be able to go up/down 8 steps with handrail. There is an electric fireplace for your enjoyment in your bedroom. You will enjoy privacy as if you had your own apartment. Private key code entry. Quiet and safe. My home is a very Zen, serene and soothing environment for a relaxing get-a-way. If you are looking for a place where positive energy flows, and you want to sit on the patio or deck and enjoy the evening by the fire, this is the place. For the safety and protection of both me and my guests, I have security cameras in the garage, back yard and front deck. I live in the upstairs part of the house and I have a Teddy Bear Bichon dog. He doesn't shed, he's hypoallergenic, extremely well-behaved and friendly. He will bark for a second when he sees while his tail wags wanting pets. I work full-time at home. Because I work full-time, check-in time needs to be no later than 10 p.m. I've had too many people tell me they are arriving between 9 - 10 p.m. and don't show up until 1 a.m.! You will get a keypad code for the garage so you can come and go as you please after initial check-in (I want to greet my guests when they arrive so I know it's the same people who made the reservation. I've had people show up that did not make the reservation!) Always make sure garage door is closed when departing. You can find me on social media if you search for Heart and Soul Bed and Breakfast. You can reach me through that site if you want to discuss discounts and longer stays. No smoking on premises. No pets allowed. No shoes are worn in the downstairs suite. There is a provided entry-way with a rug for shoes and a coat hanger. Very clean environment. Coffee machine available (ground or cups). If you have a special blend you like, please feel free to bring it with you. I also have a generator so if you're staying in my home, and the power goes out, we will still have electricity! My neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and safe. Quiet time will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please make sure the tv, radio and conversations after 10 p.m. are kept low. Rental car or Uber will probably be the easiest but I'm only 3 blocks from the nearest metro bus line. Location is 2 minutes away from I-235 at Exit 63 (Windsor Heights). Airport - 15 minutes Jordan Creek - 15 minutes Civic Center - 25 minutes with traffic Drake Relays - 10 minutes Valley West Mall - 10 minutes Merle Hay Mall - minutes 1/2 mile to bike trails that go to Downtown or out west to Jordan Creek area or another route that goes through Urbandale and then on out west. 30 minutes from Winterset for skydiving. YAY! Single men will be required to have AirBnB verifications including government photo-id and at least two positive reviews/references from other AirBnB hosts.
