This home is in the primary historic district of Cape May and is within very easy walking distance to the beach - 1/2 block. We are 2 blocks from the Washington St. Mall and very close to all the restaurants on Jackson St., the Acme food store, etc.. 4 bedroom 2 story private summer cottage half a block from the ocean in the historic district 2 blocks from downtown Victorian Cape May NJ available now. Discounts offered for last minute bookings. House has a/c in all bedrooms but does not have central air conditioning, ceiling fans downstairs: Front porch with decorative awning to provide shade on the sunny summer days; living room, dining room, full kitchen, outside rear area has outside shower, plumbed out house (toilet facility), charcoal grill; 2nd floor: 4 bedrooms and full bath. If the house is not cleaned we will deduct a cleaning fee -- depending on the number of hours it takes to clean the house. Please let me know if you are not planning on cleaning as this requires additional planning for a cleaning service which runs about $225 or less if left in good shape and can be deducted from the cleaning/damage deposit. This year with the Covid pandemic, the cleaning is going to be much more stringent as all surfaces must be desensitized. The shopping mall is 2 blocks: the beach 1/2 a block, the ACME food market 5 blocks; Colliers Liquor Store 3 blocks...everything is nearby which makes it easy to see the town, bicycle or take the various history walking tours, trolley tours, bird walking tours in Cape May Point, etc... Most people walk or bicycle.
