Golden Sands is the quintessential turn of the century Gloucester beach "cottage." With views of Good Harbor Beach, the twin lighthouses of Rockport and the scenic Atlantic Ocean from its wrap around porch and decks, you will never want to leave this amazing beach house. The main level includes the living room which opens to the verandah and deck, dining room, kitchen, study and half bath. The comfortable eat-in kitchen with walk-in pantry is well stocked with everything necessary to prepare meals for 12 people including a dishwasher, 5 burner gas stove, plenty of dishware, and a large capacity washer and dryer. The second level has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths (one with a tub & shower off the hall). Two single rooms have ocean views while the master (with twin beds) has an ensuite bathroom with tub and a door to a lovely private deck. The beds in the single bedrooms are oversized singles. The third floor has 3 more bedrooms (with 6 single beds in total) and a full bath with a tub, as well as commanding views. Leave your car in the driveway and walk to the beach and experience summer like you never have before! After the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) and relax in the shaded yard and then make a quick dinner using the natural gas Weber grill. You can even use the outdoor mini fridge for cold al fresco beverages. Golden Sands has everything you could want in a summer vacation rental. Note: An unobtrusive caretaker has use of the garage on the property for equipment storage. He will be accessing garage at the beginning and end of the work day, for maintenance reasons.
