This cozy coastal retreat is located in the attic of a unique, historical building (a twin house built by bootlegger brothers in the 1920’s!). Remodeled with a nod to the mid-century hey-day of the Wildwoods, the apartment has modern amenities to help make your stay comfortable. Make your own meals in the eat-in kitchen or dine out at many nearby places to eat. You're also just 3 blocks to the clean, free beaches of the Crest and a 15 minute walk to Wildwood’s famous boardwalk! The apartment in located in the attic of a historical 1928 bungalow. Guests have access to the deck and backyard. Beater bicycles, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs are available with advanced notice. The owner's parents live in the downstairs unit, and the owner visits occasionally. They are all happy to give recommendations and assist guests with questions or concerns when available. The neighborhood is a mix of friendly year-long residents and summer renters. The house is located near many restaurants and other eateries like Primo’s Hoagies, Lizzie’s Ice Cream, Jellyfish Café, and Britton’s Gourmet Bakery. You’re also within walking distance of nearly everything fun in Wildwood Crest: Centennial Park’s free concerts and Zumba classes, boat cruises, tennis courts, Crest Pier, the library, and even a Laundromat. Street parking only. Once you're here, most of the fun can be accessed by walking or biking! NOTE: In summer we ONLY rent for a week from SATURDAY to SATURDAY. (2024 was messed up by the website changing its policies. You may rent any partial week available for 2024.) Please note the apartment is located up two flights of stairs in case climbing steps is an issue. Also, the backyard is shared wth the downstairs residents but available to guests for relaxing and grilling. The bathroom contains a shower stall but no tub and is accessed through the small bedroom. In the small bedroom there are two twin beds. An outdoor shower and a clothes line are located in the backyard for your convenience. For that occasional rainy day, there’s cable TV, Roku, and free Wi-Fi. We are no longer able to provide linens and towels, so if you choose to make a reservation, please be aware you will need to bring your own.
