The space This light filled apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful hardwood floors, stylish décor, and high ceilings, for a perfectly charming New Orleans experience!. The unit has modern amenities, including an updated kitchen, new mattresses, in-unit washer & dryer, as well as central A/C for a cool and comfortable stay. With 2 bedrooms, plus bath, this apartment is a great place for groups to stay, with plenty of room for 4 guests. Sleeping: There are two bedrooms, each with new, queen size memory foam mattresses, additional seating, and closets with storage space for belongings. The 1st bedroom is slightly smaller, but features an attached terrace overlooking the neighborhood, while the 2nd bedroom is quite large and features a desk/work space. An air mattress can also be provided by the host with advance notice. Kitchen: The kitchen is perfect for making a light snack or a cooking a full meal, with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave and stove, plus pots, pans, dishware, utensils & cooking staples such as salt, pepper & olive oil. A drip coffee maker is provided, with complementary coffee, filters & sugar for your convenience. Living Area: The light-filled living room is beautifully decorated, with colorful artwork, a leather sofa and additional seating, plus a large, flat-screen TV. There is also a dining table with seating for two. Entertainment: We provide a streaming device that can be used with your personal accounts such as Netflix, Hulu or Prime. We also provide free high-speed WIFI. Please note that we do not have cable/satellite TV. We even have a dart board! Bathroom: There is one bathroom with a shower, though it does not have a bathtub. Washer & Dryer: We have an in-unit washer & dryer (located in the bathroom) available for use free of charge. Other things to note ** Location ** Please note this apartment is located directly above one of the best breakfast spots on Freret St, The Kolache Kitchen, and therefore you may hear some noise from the restaurant in the morning, as well as a light street noise from time to time during other parts of the day. ** Stairs ** The building does require going up stairs to access the building and unit so it may be challenging for people with mobility issues. ** Pets** We accept dogs and other permanently caged animals only. No cats. Pets are assessed non-refundable “Pet Rent” of $75 or $25/night, whichever is greater for the first pet, while the second pet gets a 50% discount. This rate is not included in our quoted price - it is an additional surcharge. Please contact us prior to check in to arrange for the additional "Pet Rent". All dogs must remain on the leash while in public spaces. Dog owner must pick up all waste. Dogs must not exhibit excessive barking or other behaviors which disrupt the quiet enjoyment of any other space in the building. Dog owner shall not allow any pets on to any furniture for any reason. Dog owner is responsible for all pet hair and “shedding”. Landlord will pass along any additional extra cleaning fees to dog owner. Dog owner is responsible for any and all damage to the apartment, furniture, or other property by pet.
