Relax in a beautiful mountain setting at this 4-season ski house within walking distance of the slopes at Otis Ridge Ski Area (the best ski area south of the Vermont border). In fact, the back-yard (actually a meadow full of wildlife and flowers) used to be part of the ski area and there are still remnants of the rope-tow on the edge of the property. The long-range views off the back porch are fantastic. The space This house has 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, 2.5 baths, a pull-out couch in the living room, another pull-out couch and a pull-out ottoman in the finished walkout basement/game room (it has a shuffleboard table, darts, and a chess/backgammon table) and an electric air mattress to sleep up to 8 people. There are large flat-screen TV's in the living room, master bedroom, and basement game-room. There is a large deck overlooking the meadow with half of it covered and screened in. Enjoy a warm gas-fireplace in the living room, or sit in front of a real woodstove in the basement (wood is free) or a soak in an outdoor 7-person Artesian Spas Grand Cayman hot tub with all the bells and whistles overlooking the meadow. If you're looking for relaxation, this place and surrounding area can't be beat. Tons of great hiking, numerous lakes, and other attractions like the towns of Great Barrington, Lee, and Lennox (20 minutes away), plus attractions like Tanglewood, and Jacob's Pillow are just a short scenic drive away. This house works best as a family retreat or a romantic getaway for couples. It does not work as a place to have large or loud parties as it is located within a quiet neighborhood and has new hard-wood floors. Guest access You will have access to all parts of the house, but please only go to the unfinished basement to access the washer and dryer and to get out to the hot-tub. It's basically just used for storage at the moment, but there are plans to finish it as an entertainment area soon.
