Yellow River Resort - House Unit 2

Soak up the sun and river in this remodeled country home. Located a short 5 minutes from Monona, 15 minutes from Prairie du Chien, WI and the Mississippi River, and 30 mintutes from Decorah, IA you will be a short drive from all of the exciting attractions Northeast Iowa has to offer. Yellow River Resort is nestled in peaceful valley overlooking the beautiful Yellow River. Whether you're an outdoors enthusiast or just looking for a fun getaway, this is the perfect location to explore the area. The space You will have the remodeled one bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located at the bottom of the house. A private entrance will take you into the living room/kitchen area. There is a high-top table to enjoy breakfast on. NOTE: There is no stove. There IS a skillet, microwave, dorm size refrigerator, utensils, toaster, coffee pot, and charcoal grill. To the right upon entering is the large bedroom. There is plenty of space for an air mattress if extra sleeping space is needed. To the left through the kitchen is the bathroom with a stand-up shower. Outside is a cement patio with a picnic table, chairs, and grill. A fire pit is located to the south of the house to enjoy also. Guest access There is a lock and key. The home will be unlocked upon your arrival with your key on the counter please keep unlocked when you leave. Wifi is on a sheet of paper at the home Other things to note There is a mini refrigerator, skillet for pancakes, eggs, whatever you like, coffee maker, microwave, and basic utensils. You may want to bring a beach towel if you plan on enjoying the local park or partaking in renting tubes/kayaks. There are 2 chairs outside, but you may want more around the fire pit. Extra lawn chairs may be needed depending on the number of guests. There is a charcoal grill, you will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Due to remote access and no local trash pick up, every standard 13 gallon bag of trash left at the home will be charged an extra $4 per bag at the end of your stay. Animals are allowed for an extra $50 per stay. They MUST be house trained. We live next door. If you forget something for your pet, please reach out. There are poop bags, please be respectful and pick up after your pet. Animals are not allowed on the furniture. You will be charged at the end of your stay for pets in addition to your total. If you fail to tell us you brought a pet and we see the pet during your stay, you will still be charged.
