Welcome to our neck of the woods. Right across the road from Spook Cave sits a nice peaceful cabin with spacious outdoor area. Enjoy a nice fire or simply relax underneath the covered porch with a beautiful pond view. We are located near a train track so don’t be alarmed if one goes by. It actually is pretty neat to see in the dark as your sitting by the fire. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we love it. Secluded but yet close to town. Feel free to ask any questions. Nathan, Genna Welch The space We do not offer any shampoo/conditioner just towels and sheets/blankets and the major necessities. 2 Queen beds ( loft area) We do have a charcoal grill, bring your own charcoal/ and to start with. We do offer pellet grill $20 per stay We do have a smart tv , we have WiFi so you can sign in to Netflix etc. if you have an account on your own subscription. We do take pride in our cleaning and clean professional after each stay. Our bedding including comforters are cleaned after each stay. Relax and enjoy New to The Cabin & The Cottage is a pond. Pond is finished and beautiful, You have full access to pond. Swimming /fishing on the beach / dock is available. Please do not take bath towels to the beach. We have a paddle boat and kayaks available, please bring your own life jacket. No lifeguard on duty so enter at your own risk. Owners are not responsible for any accidents. Please enjoy and respect the grounds. Beautiful area! We ask with the beach to rinse off before entering the cabin. We do have a wash station available. We’ve also had people bring or rent a pontoon with our nearby marina. Fun day on the Mississippi! Also if interested we do have a sister cabin called The Cottage , still private but also nice for bigger groups. Guest access You are welcome to explore the big yard and over the train tracks is where Bloody Run Trout Stream is. Behind the cabin is a trail you can walk on or if you bring a UTV. Our property extends over the train tracks along the trout stream past the wooden bridge. So you are welcome to fish that area. Please keep out of log barn. You are able to walk right into Spook Cave Campground if you are interested in touring the cave. You can also swim in there pond to for a fee you just need to go to the store and tell them where you are staying. I hear they have amazing icecream as well! Enjoy your stay!!!!
