Strategically located in the heart of the Berkshires at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, you can walk to the ski trails, hike, or take a short drive to a plethora of attractions, four seasons of the year. This spacious home offers the perfect balance of quiet, private space with generously sized areas for your group's gatherings, indoors & on the decks. A quiet, corner unit, with 2 private parking spaces makes check in and check out stress free. This unit is tucked into the trees surrounded by nature and beauty at an elevation offering stunning views. Additional parking spaces are available with locations listed under Info For Guests. Guests can access all parts of this property. Inside of the home, guests will find a House Book, providing simple yet thorough details about opening, staying in and closing the home. Included in the book are emergency contact numbers, how to contact the owners, recommendations for activities, restaurants and other pearls of information. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE DETAILED INFORMATION WITHIN THE BOOK. Thank you. This home is located in the Mountainside section of the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort property. This home is not near public transportation. A car will be needed if planning on leaving the property. There are a few dining, light grocery and retail shopping options on the resort premises within a long distance walk ( a mile or two) The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, bakeware, crock pot, food processor, blender, toaster,2 full sets of dishes and glassware, a generous amount of serving pieces, bowls, roasting and baking dishes, turkey baster, Keurig coffee pot, Mr. Coffee coffee pot, Techni Vorm Mochamaster drip coffee pot, and filters. We have a propane gas grill and BBQ utensils, firewood and starter logs, extra pillows, blankets, linens and sheets. There are ac units for cooling the master bedroom and main floor/ kitchen area. There are high efficiency window fans for all the bedrooms. ( Although there really isn't a need for ac downstairs, there is an ac window unit in the utility closet if needed) The community pool is located behind the Doc Maynard building at the base of the resort. The door code to get in is 3620. There are towels provided as well as restrooms. This pool is for summer time use only. There is another pool behind the Country Inn which is open year round with the exception of extreme weather. Community hot tubs, both indoor and outdoor, are located adjacent to the pool at The Country Inn. Ask for towels at the front desk. Restrooms are available. There is a small exercise room area at the Country Inn. On premise is The Country Store, a charming architectural gem that was built without using any hardware! It offers excellent breakfast sandwiches and coffee, lunch options, adult beverages, pantry items and other general items that guests may need.
