This waterfront cottage is located in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. We are 1 mile away from Hopatcong State Park and about 45 miles away from New York/Times Square. 3 guests can sleep comfortably or 6 guests if 2 people sleep in each sofa bed/futon which are 3 full size . The cottage has an open layout + 1 bathroom. There are no separate bedrooms. This is a secondary unit completely separated from our house where we live (our structure is near the street.) Lake Hopatcong is the largest lake in New Jersey and it is located about 45 miles from New York/Times Square. Only the number of people included in the reservation will be allowed in this cottage. The cottage can comfortably accommodate 3 guests or up to 6 guests if you choose to sleep 2 in each sofa bed/futon sleeping area 1 full sofa bed ( 1-2 ) guest/s 1 full futon ( 1-2 ) guest/s 1 full futon (1-2 ) guest/s I also rent this place for events by the hours just in case you want to have any type of celebration here for an extra charge. We offer the following options: - Rent the cottage by the nighty only up to 6 people - Rent it for small event/reunions or big events ( give us all the information to give you a quote and different options and packages. The cottage has a kitchenette - Toaster - Coffee Maker (regular) - Microwave - Refrigerator - Freezer (vertical) - Utensils - Blender The cottage has an open layout (studio type), living/dinnding and a kitchenette area. There is no bedroom. There is a pullout sofa bed with memory foam mattress and 2 full futons. Full bath with shower Guests will have access to the cottage and the dock area, not the boat house. - 2 kayaks - floater - 1 canoe - life vests - private beach area by our dock where you can swim - Barbecue area no life guard is provided. You will be swimming at your own risk. Every guest will have to sign a Hold Harmless Form upon arrival We are available if you need anything as our house (main house) in the same grounds near the street. The cottage is a second structure located down by the water. Our property is almost 1 acre and the 2 structures (our house and the cottage) are in the same lot. You will have your privacy and we will only go down if we need to get the boat out of the boathouse. All shops are nearby (5-10 minutes away). The rental includes the access to 2 kayaks , floaters, life vests and private swimming area by our deck. Hold Harmless Form will need to be signed by every guest upon arrival. Only 6 guests can stay overnight unless different arrangements were made with the owner. When you rent the cottage by the night, only you will have access to the grounds and the deck. There is also a beach area by the deck if you want to get in the water and swim around the deck area. We do provide life vests if needed. The boat house and the shed are used by the owners only and we will go down only when we want to take the boat out and decide to go for a ride. You will have your privacy by the cottage and the deck. There is an additional fee per visitor and it has to be authorized by the owner. This place can also be rented for events up to 40 people for a daily rate of $1,500 for a maximum of 8 hours ( 2:00 pm - 10 pm)
