Circa 1840 brick building, The Balcony Suite with private bathroom was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures.. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. If you need to go to bed early, we might not be a good fit. Uniquely located, close to the Garden District, Arts/Museum District, French 1/4 and the Conventional Center The space This second story balcony room is furnished with a four posted Scandinavian designed Queen size bed. The room includes a brand new en suite bathroom with walk in shower. Please note: The bathroom area is creatively designed with architectural glass, wood and curtains providing privacy. For some folks, not enough. We understand. The room is f ull of morning light and has 2 windows and 2 french doors. Handmade curtains and solid cypress shutters offer privacy and darkness if you want to sleep. The room has its own stocked refrigerator, toaster oven and electric kettle. Linen napkins, cutlery, cups and glasses. Guest access Guests have access to the shared courtyard. Access to the Courtyard and guest rooms is by way of the Common Alley from Race Street. The locked gate in our passage way to the Common Alley provides us and our guests a peace of mind and privacy. Other things to note We share this historic end of our block with our neighbor and sister building at 510 Race St. The building and its surrounding property are called Race & Religious named after the streets. It is a popular wedding venue that does book some lively celebrations on most weekend nights. 11pm is the lawful curtain call for live and recorded music.
