Westhampton, a rural and beautiful town, has a small population, yet it is close to so many wonderful attractions. Downtown Northampton, Outlook Farm (OMG, the best sandwiches, breakfast and lunch!---also bakery treats, meats, cheese, groceries and special events including concerts and hayrides) Norwich Lake, Chesterfield Gorge, the Berkshires, the Mill River, Westfield River, and so much more. Northampton and Easthampton, both minutes away, offer world-class eateries, art and music, and culture. The apartment in front is completely your own---I live in the back apartment of the duplex house, with my kitties, pup and two horses on the acreage. The apartment can sleep eight and is filled with sunshine. The big bedroom has a comfy queen bed and a twin-size sleep sofa. The smaller bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The large bathroom has laundry facilities, shower and a separate soaking tub (it has whirlpool jets but unfortunately they do not work and cannot be repaired, but it's a nice deep bathtub.) There is one step up to the living room, and one step down to the smaller bedroom, but otherwise no stairs at all. The queen sleeper sofa in the living room is extremely comfortable. Gardens filled with flowers, a babbling creek, an enclosed porch to relax almost-outdoors with snacks--- the space is dedicated for guests, so you have total privacy. A wonderful getaway filled with possibilities! Guest access The entire front apartment of the duplex is yours, with 2 private entrances (no stairs to climb at all) and dedicated parking right near your front door. (Front door is plum-colored with yellow flowerpot.) You have total privacy (unless you need something, in which case I am nearby in the back apartment). Your pup must be crated if left alone in the apartment, but there are plenty of walking trails nearby. I value privacy for myself and guests, so you will not see me unless you need something, but I also love meeting new people from different places, so don't be shy! If you'd like to meet my friendly horses, just let me know. Other things to note There are 2 diagonal spaces on left side of driveway, right beside your front door. You may also park in front of the white picket fence. Additional parking can be arranged by request, in my personal area. The deep bathtub has whirlpool jets that unfortunately do not work and, according to my plumber, cannot be repaired. Minimum winter stay 6 months.
