Shome/Horse Stables Located Near Lake Darling

Welcome to a truly unique stay, a labor of love originally designed as a dream home for my father. This property includes beautiful horse stables and open land for anyone seeking serenity. Every detail has been thoughtfully crafted, from cozy interiors to quiet outdoor spots perfect for reflection or connection. Whether you’re here to unwind, be with family or simply take in the tranquility, you’ll feel the care and intention that went into creating this special place. Guest access Welcome! You are allowed to be anywhere on the property minus the hay mound and pastures. If there are horses in the indoor arena, or stalls please do not enter. You can pet all animals minus the one that has his picture hanging on the fridge. He is not mean, just ornery and likes to play too much if you are not familiarized with the animal. Other things to note Please remember the pasture wires are live and will shock! Watch out for playful, Bandit - the horse that has his picture in the fridge. He’s ornery, not mean. The upstairs couch has been broken. It will not fold all the way in, but can still be slept on by putting your head on the west end. It is hard to remove from the property, but as soon as we are able, we will. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds. However, we do have two nice air mattresses upstairs that you can use in the upstairs living room area. Plenty of room! The downstairs chair (orange) will convert to a single bed.
