Cowboy Lake is truly one of a kind - rustic and refined log lodge with 4 large bedrooms, 5 baths, an entertainment style kitchen and living room, indoor gas fireplace, outdoor patio fireplace, 360 views with PRIVATE walking and biking trails that lead to Chico Hot Springs Resort. The Lodge sits on a hilltop in a private, gated neighborhood in the heart of Paradise Valley. Large patio areas, outdoor fireplace, privacy and majestic views out any window! The home is an easy 30 minute drive to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. You can also fish on the private trout pond within the gated community; go horseback riding, soak in mineral hot springs, or get a massage at Chico Hot Springs, less than 1 mile down the road. This is all done while enjoying the benefits of a PRIVATE vacation rental home with 360 degrees of the most drool worthy mountain valley in the country. Cowboy Lake Lodge is the perfect location for launching day trips to SW Montana rivers, trails and National Parks, family gatherings or a group retreat. Perfectly appointed, the home that comfortably sleeps 12 is 1st class in every way. There isn't an inch of the home that isn't refined, Montana, and luxurious. At Cowboy Lake you could stay at the house and just take in the views, or spend a week exploring the overwhelming amount of recreation opportunities out the back door (literally). Paved quiet, gated neighborhood is perfect for families who bring bikes with them for kids or adults alike to ride, walk and roam freely and safely. Bring your own fly fishing gear for amazing trout fishing in the "lake" where you are guaranteed a bite! We do request no bait and catch and release only, please. ACCOMODATIONS: Oversized open floor plan living and dining room with doors to the outside covered patios. The home was built for a crowd and entertaining. 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs with a bonus sleeping area. The upstairs also has a large gameroom with oversized couches, TV with DirectTV and DVD player, game table and wet bar. Outside you find beautiful natural landscaping to highlight the views with a large outside dining table and a separate area with a fireplace and private nook. The kitchen has ample room and state of the art appliances for cooking meals large or small and the home has an additional refrigerator in the garage for stocking up on all the food and beverages for your stay. The living space has plenty of room for gathering, playing games, enjoying the fireplace and gazing out the floor to ceiling windows that frame the unobstructed views of the Absaroka Mountain Range. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: 1) Master suite on the main level with oversized bathroom and king bed, private entrance to the patio and outdoor fireplace 2) Guest room on the main level with queen bed and adjoining full bath 3) Upstairs has another private room with queen bed, attached full bath and private balcony 4) A breezeway "bonus room" has a single twin bed 5) The "Bunk Room" has 2 twin beds, 1 trundle bed and a bunk bed with twin on top and bottom (sleeps a total of 5), attached 3/4 bath 6) An additional 1/2 bath is upstairs just off the game room. The home does sit in a private, gated community with HOA Rules. Guests are expected to abide by all neighborhood courtesies. The gate to the community has a code that will be sent to you before arrival. There is a garage key pad for your convenience.There is also a lockbox with key by the man door to the garage. Guest staying at this home are given access to the amenities within the Buffalo Ranch private neighborhood. These amenities are for the paying GUESTS only. These include catch and release fishing on the private pond, and the walking and biking trails. You have access to the entire home and garage. We offer easy self-check in but are available for anything that might arise. We live in Livingston which is a 25 minute drive away. We ask you just text or call us with any issues or questions. We are always happy to help. We offer additional concierge services for a fee. Please inquire regarding pre-trip shopping, in home chefs, reservation and activity assistance, babysitting, family vacation photography and more! One of the most ideal areas of "Paradise Valley." Cowboy Lake Lodge is located within a Private neighborhood, very quiet and serene with spectacular views and close to many of the areas most loved attractions and scenery. It is a gated community with residents that live year round. Please remember that children, dogs and walkers are out often - drive slowly and be respectful. The home is less than 1 mile from Chico Hot Springs where you can soak in mineral pools, dine at one of the best restaurants in the state, drink at a classic and legendary saloon, horseback ride, snowshoe, play frisbee golf and more! You are a short 15 minute drive to the now famous "Pine Creek Lodge where John Mayer and Bob Weir recently performed, and 5 minutes to the town of Emigrant where "The Old Saloon" hosts world class live music year round. The gated neighborhood has walking and biking trails throughout (they are labeled) and a full stocked pond with trout. You are welcome to fish and picnic here at the pond. Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided. You are 30 minutes from Yellowstone, 30 minutes to Livingston and 1 hour from Bozeman. All roads leading to the home are paved. You will want a reliable vehicle, preferably 4wd from the surrounding area travel. All roads in the neighborhood are paved. A gate code will be sent to you with your access information 1 week prior to your scheduled date of arrival. If you are mailing anything prior to your trip, please do not mail to the house address. You can have items shipped to our office address and we will deliver for you. The local property management company, Key Montana, will also be sending a rental agreement to be signed upon booking.
