St James African Methodist Episcopal apartment
Description
We are offering the downstairs apartment in the former St. James African Methodist Episcopal church, which was converted into a residence in the 1980s. The space has been remodeled and updated recently, and is now available to you. It is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance from downtown, and very close to both the Capitol complex and several hiking and biking trailheads. Pets are allowed. The space If you have business at the Capitol, then this is for you. It is less than 1/2 mile to the Capitol complex. It is also near downtown Helena. The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower (no bathtub) and a built in sauna. The kitchen contains a gas stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a small portable dishwasher. This is a basement apartment and there are 3 steps down to get inside. You will hear sounds from people and pets upstairs. There is a piano in the living room and you’re welcome to play it! Guest access Private entrance. Lockbox. One step down into the entry. Other things to note People live upstairs, so you will hear activity such as walking, talking, cats or dogs running, and maybe musical instruments occasionally being played. There are fans for white noise and earplugs next to the beds. This is an old building and the heating system (boiler and pipes) sometimes makes knocking and popping sounds when warming up. If you are a light sleeper, please consider this. Thanks ☺️
