With mountain recreation all around in every season, our luxury log home is the ideal place to enjoy the mountains in comfort. The incredible mountain view includes the slopes at Bridger Bowl Ski Area (a mile away) and Bohart Cross Country Ski Ranch (across the road) so you can be sipping wine in the hot tub just 5 minutes off the slopes. Situated in beautiful Bridger Canyon, the location is ideal for outdoor recreation or simply enjoying the inspirational mountain view and the comfort of our home. Winter skiing is right out the door as well as hiking, biking and fishing in Spring, Summer and Fall. Our home is far enough out of Bozeman to be quiet and private, but close enough for a quick drive to shopping, the airport and all that southwest Montana has to offer. Amenities include luxury linens, out door hot tub, wireless Internet, Satellite TV with 200 channels, DVR, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, laundry room with Neptune washer and dryer, custom made furniture, gas grill, large wood burning fireplace, slipper bathtub with champaign bubble message, radiant heat for warm floors and much more. Probably the best feature of our home, in addition to the ambiance, amenities and mountain view, is the perfect location. Our log home is far enough out of Bozeman to be quiet and private, but close enough with easy access, to not waist time driving. Many Montana rentals are in beautiful locations, but they can take a lot of time to get to and from, often back in the hills with long driveways that you may need a four wheel drive to get in and out of, as well as a lot of extra time to go anywhere. Getting to Bozeman quickly is important and since our log home is only 16 miles away in beautiful Bridger Canyon, it is an easy quick drive into town for shopping, restaurants, and all that south west Montana has to offer. There is hiking all around with wildflowers galore, bird watching, wildlife, and small stream fishing just minutes away. River fishing and rafting on numerous blue ribbon trout streams like the Madison, Yellowstone and Gallatin rivers as well as the head waters of the Missouri are all close enough for day trips. Temperatures at Bridger Vista Lodge are normally 10 degrees cooler than Bozeman and surrounding valleys in summer, so even when lower elevations are sometimes hot in July and August, our log home is comfortable or even cool especially when the sun goes over the mountain. The high mountains to the west block the sun well before sunset which allows the mountain breeze to cool our home quickly even on the hottest days for evening and overnight temps regularly in the 50s and even 40s.
