Our unique and renovated historic home (circa 1790) boasts beautiful 180-degree views of the Herring River, serving as a peaceful retreat. Swim, kayak, and fish from our small private beach in the sparkling clean tidal river. The warm water beaches of West Harwich on Nantucket Sound are just a 10 minute walk away. This home sits on over an acre of land with large yards on a private road leading to the property. A waterfront property with original pine floors from 1790, hand-carved mantles and fire places. This home was built by a local ship builder while George Washington was serving as President. Entire home is available, it's a large property on an acre lot and is very private. We are nearby on the Cape and will keep to ourselves unless anything is needed. Private stone road to the house, 10 minute walk to beautiful public beach, close to both Harwichport and Dennis Port centers. On a private drive, able to bike to local restaurants and beaches. Beach area by the river, kayak and paddleboardnavailable for use. During high season, we only accept Saturday-Saturday reservations.
