Beautiful, comfortable, three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath in a quiet neighborhood with a small pond a short .2 m walk away. Home has a tranquil, shaded backyard with lattice covered deck with patio and fire pit, media room, fully stocked kitchen and central A/C. Towels & linens supplied. Visit Provincetown or Falmouth and the islands easily. Book today! The space Welcome! We are very excited to share our home with you! We do our best to try and think of all your needs before you arrive. This is a weekly rental in the summer during July and August, Saturdays to Saturdays. In the late Spring and early Fall we rent our home with a four night minimum. You can arrive any day of the week where there is availability on the calendar. Unfortunately for their safety, our home is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Our house is a ranch style with most living space on one floor with the bedrooms and 2 baths accessible without a staircase. We have a finished basement with a media room, 1/2 bath in the laundry room and refrigerator and microwave for snacks. There is a large desk with printer if you find you need to do some work during your vacation. The whole house has central air conditioning. We also supply all towels, beach towels, sheets and summer blankets. Save room in your car because we also supply different size coolers, a beach umbrella and beach chairs. We have a great lawn to play games and supply corn hole to play outside and many games and puzzles for those rainy days. *BEDROOMS The master bedroom with en-suite is on one end of the house. The master has a king bed and 42" 4K Ultra Smart LED TV. The other two bedrooms are on the opposite end of the house. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two regular length twin beds (not extra-long). The main bath is next to these bedrooms. All beds have a bed bug mattress protector. Bedding supplied includes a mattress pad, high thread count cotton sheets, summer blanket and a coverlet. We provide several pillows to chose your preferred thickness from. There is a mixture of down, down alternative and foam. Windows in the bedrooms have blackout shades and curtains *BATHS We supply two bath towels each for six guests, also hand towels, face cloths and make-up towels. There are six beach towels in the main bath. We supply bottles of shampoo and conditioner and individually packaged bars of soap. We also supply a hair dryer. *KITCHEN Our kitchen will have more equipment than a regular rental because this is our home during the other months of the year, not just a rental and Diane is an avid cook. If there is any specific kitchen equipment you want to know if we supply, please message us. We have also bought new appliances in 2019 including a Bosch duel fuel range. (electric convection oven and gas stove top), Bosch convection microwave and a Kitchen-aid dishwasher There is an island with seating for three. In the dining room we have a table for six. *BASEMENT Media Room Please enjoy our finished basement with home theater, Blu-Ray player and over 150 DVD's with some children's movies on the 65 inch Sony TV. We supply a Roku streaming device for your own accounts. Relax on our extra large, very comfortable sectional couch. You don't need to miss any of the movie with a refrigerator and microwave right there for your snacks and a half bath in the laundry room. We also have games and puzzles and a dining table to play on in the air conditioned basement. Laundry We have a HE washing machine and dryer for your use with a small supply of detergent. You will find the iron and board by the desk. Work Desk We have a large desk and printer for your use during your stay in the finished basement. *BACKYARD What sets us apart is the large, private, landscaped backyard with lattice covered deck. You'll find a Weber gas grill and table with cushioned chairs for six on the deck. The deck leads to a patio with a chair, couch and love seat along with tables that surround a stone fire pit. The backyard receives morning sun and afternoon shade. Enjoy your morning coffee outside before the day-time temperature rises. We have installed outdoor speakers from a stereo receiver in living room where you can hook-up your own phone or use the one we supply with a basic Pandora app. Listen to music inside and out. You will also find the quintessential outdoor, enclosed shower with pathway to deck. Feel free to access the shed near the driveway (we have two sheds. One is locked for our personal items) with beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers and to store your bikes and toys. Take a short stroll to a fresh water pond in our neighborhood to cool off, fish or paddle around on a Stand Up Paddle board.(not provided) Please be aware we live here the rest of the year that we don't rent. We have put a lot of love and work into our home and politely request that you treat our home as you do your own. Please be aware you will see many different types of wild animals at our home. Please accept that you may encounter some or all of these during your stay. We have wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, owls, chipmunks and racoons at night. Cape Cod is well know for ticks. We do have our lawn sprayed for ticks but you should definitely check yourselves daily! Please see more information in our House Manual. Along with the wild animals there are neighborhood cats, dogs and a rooster. MOST ASKED QUESTIONS *Closest parking for the Cape Cod Rail Trail is .9 miles away on Headwaters Drive *Neighborhood pond is .2 miles away *Harwich beach -Bank Street Beach- 2.6 miles *Furthest Harwich beach-Pleasant Road Beach- 3.9 miles *There are 4 freshwater ponds with parking in Harwich *There are 5+ Nantucket Sound beaches with parking in Harwich *Beach $20 daily passes $65 for non-resident weekly passes (as of summer 2020) *If you go to other towns beaches they are free to park after 4:30-We love to go for dinner picnics! *You can also go to other town's beaches after 4:30 PM. A favorite of ours is Breakwater in Brewster and Skaket in Orleans. If you go during low tide you can walk the tidal pools and walk for what seems like forever. It is a very unique thing to do and only in this area of Cape Cod! Check the internet for daily tide charts for when low tide is *Nickerson State Park $8 per day (MA residents) for excellent hikes, bike paths and a stocked pond for fishing! We have an extensive House Manual binder and an Activities binder that we have created with many of the wonderful things you can do in this area of Cape Cod. You will find these on our dining room table. You will also find some of these listed under Location and in our Guide Book here on Airbnb. If you would like an email of all the information before your arrival, please just ask! Guest access You will have access to the whole house except there will be a storage room in the basement that will be locked and some other storage closets will also be off limits and locked but other than those areas for our personal items the house is yours. Outside we have two sheds. One will be available for you, the other locked. Other things to note In July and August ALL RESERVATIONS ARE WEEKLY- Saturday to Saturday. Off season reservations are 4 night minimums with any day arrival depending on availability For their safety Children should be at least 12 years of age or older. Our home is not suitable for younger children We have the lawn treated for ticks. There is NO SMOKING OR VAPING in our home and NO PETS of any kind Late check outs and early check-ins are not available. We must get ready for our next visitors. It takes every minute before the next check-in to clean the whole house, wash all the laundry, make all the beds, landscaping and mow the lawn.
