Yellowstone Riverside Cabin sits on the banks of the Yellowstone River and is located just 5 miles from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park & the town of Gardiner, Montana, . It is fully furnished modern 2 bedroom & 2 full baths cabin. If you’d like to visit Yellowstone National Park yet get away from the crowds, this is the perfect place. The cabin is located on Old Yellowstone Trail S., a gravel road. The short drive along Old Yellowstone Trail is great for viewing wildlife. This cozy cabin is wonderful all year round. In the winter enjoy wildlife watching from the warmth of the cabin or drive your own car into Yellowstone National Park and the Lamar Valley. The roads to the cabin are maintained year round with grading and snow plowing. The fully furnished cabin/chalet is equipped with a satellite flat-screen Smart UHD TV, Blue ray DVD player, Soundbar that connects to smart phones via Bluetooth, free Wi-Fi, USB ports, a monitor for photographers wanting to do some editing, a washer and dryer, gas fireplace, electric heat, AC, and a covered patio with outdoor seating. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, crock pot, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. There are 2 master suites in each unit, each featuring a private bathroom with a bath and shower. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and looks out on the river. Private patio has a picnic table and comfortable seating. It's wonderful to sit outside with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. Plenty of free parking is available on site. Other conveniences, are a washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, hair drier, lighted vanity mirror w/magnification, USB ports in the walls by the beds, in the living room and kitchen. Many books on nature, etc. to borrow but please leave in the cabin. I am excited to share my wonderful riverside cabin with you. I have recently purchased this cabin and many new items have been added. It is my hope that you find it meets all your needs and more. I love this location and i think you will too. VERY IMPORTANT! Occupancy number and rate varies by dates: May 1 through Sept. 30 Rate is for 4 people. Not more than 8 people. $20.00/night per person over 4 people with 8 people maximum occupancy. October 1 through April 30 Rate is for 4 people. Not more than 6 people. $20.00/night per person over 4 people with 6 people maximum occupancy. Guests have access to the whole cabin. I am always reachable by phone and email. I chose this spot because I fell in love with Yellowstone in the winter. It's hard to beat YS National Park in the summer but the winter is my favorite. I like to be able to drive into the park on my own in the winter and not have to go with a snow coach. The North entrance allows this. The setting here is absolutely beautiful and this area is not overly commercialized or crowded. If you don't mind driving a few miles on a gravel road, it is a county-maintained road but usage can cause some wash-boarding, you'll be greatly rewarded by the surroundings. It's a common occurrence to see elk, deer, pronghorn antelope, bison, bighorn sheep, and more along the drive. Please, when on the gravel road, just keep your speed down to 25 mph or less and as low as 20 mph at night. And remember never to approach the wild animals. Keep a safe distance. It is suggested if hiking or walking along the river to always carry bear spray, and keep it handy, not packed away. Mahalo and ENJOY! Having a car is definitely recommended. There is plenty of free parking. The nearest major airport is the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Bozeman, Montana. It is roughly 80 miles away. It is my hope to furnish my cabin so that everyone will thoroughly enjoy their stay. Please help take care of the cabin and the furnishings. This is my home, it is very special to me. Please help me keep it in good condition and high standards. I ask that you treat my cabin as you would your own, or as you would a good friend's place. VERY IMPORTANT! Please make note. The Airbnb site is not customizable for varying occupancy numbers so I was told to add that here. Depending on the time of year I have a maximum occupancy of 6 to 8. FOR RESERVATIONS: May 1 through Sept. 30 Rate is for 4 people. Not more than 8 people. $20.00/night per person over 4 people with 8 people maximum occupancy. This will be figured in by Airbnb. October 1 through April 30 Rate is for 4 people. Not more than 6 people. $20.00/night per person over 4 people with 6 people maximum occupancy.
