While enjoying our beaches we ask that you are mindful of the surf and encourage you to swim at lifeguarded beaches only. The North Shore of Kauai has several quaint, historic bridges which require an extra consideration of Aloha! These bridges are one-lane only. Local etiquette is to allow 5-7 cars to cross at one time. If you are the 8th vehicle in line, please stop and wait for the other side of the bridge to cross first.
