No party houses, must follow a good neighbor policy and community regulations The space Welcome to our historic Plymouth home, built more than 250 years ago with original post-and-beam construction by direct descendants of the Mayflower settlers. This is a true historic home, located on Town Brook, just one block from the waterfront and steps from the original settlement area of Plymouth. You will be staying near where the Pilgrims first settled, built their village, forts, and burial grounds, and formed early relationships with the Native people, including Squanto, along this very brook and hill. The home offers a rare opportunity to experience Plymouth’s history while still enjoying modern comforts, including a year-round hot tub and a convenient location close to restaurants, attractions, bike rentals, the waterfront, and the beach, which is approximately two miles away. The John Carver Hotel’s pool and water park are also located across the street, with day passes sometimes available directly through the hotel. Because this is a 250-year-old historic home, guests should expect some imperfections and differences from a modern house. The home includes original woodwork, doors, beams, refurbished wooden windows, and other historic details. Sound may carry more easily through older doors, walls, and windows. We do provide sound machines and do our best to make the home comfortable for modern stays while preserving the charm and character of one of the oldest homes in the area. This is not a party house. We have a strict Good Neighbor Policy, and no loud gatherings, parties, or events are allowed. This protects the integrity of the home and respects our neighbors. We prefer not to host more than 12 adults, although larger family groups may be considered when the additional guests are children. Pets require prior approval. Parking is limited to four off-street vehicles. Guests are required to follow checkout procedures, which include removing trash, limited to the two bins provided, stripping beds, starting a load of laundry, and starting the dishwasher. Summer checkout is 10:00 AM from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Early check-in or late checkout may be available depending on the schedule of our independent cleaning team. When available, there is a fee of $100–$200 depending on timing and coordination. Rates may vary based on season, holidays, peak travel periods, and minimum-night requirements.
