No party houses, must follow a good neighbor policy and community regulations The space About the Home Welcome to our historic home, built over 250 years ago with original post-and-beam construction and wide plank floors. While it can comfortably accommodate families and groups thanks to bunk rooms on the walkout level, the maximum adult occupancy is 12. Additional guests may be allowed only if they are children. Please note: This is not a party house. Due to the age and structure of the home, we cannot allow large groups, events, or excessive activity (such as dancing or bouncing) on the main floors, as this puts stress on the original timbers. We've made recent repairs to reinforce the flooring due to wear from prior larger groups. Amenities & Attractions Hot Tub: Located on-site and open year-round. Pool/Water Park: Available across the street at the John Carver Inn. Day passes may be available through the hotel directly. Please check with them for current policies. Town Brook Access: A quiet sitting area directly along the brook. Location: Just one block from the waterfront and centrally located near Main Street and downtown attractions. Nearby Activities: Public beach (2 miles) Kids’ playground (1 mile) Skate park and basketball courts (1 block) Historic Gristmill and swan pond (short walk) Bike Rentals: Delivery available through a local company. Bedrooms & Layout Main Floor: Kitchen, living room, dining room, 1 bedroom, and half bath Second Floor: 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, 1 Queen ensuite bedroom, 1 shared bathroom Lower Walk-Out Level:, Open bunk room with 3 bunk beds, Bedroom with twin-over-full bunk, Sitting area with daybed, French doors to enclosed sleeping space with white bunk and daybed, Full bath and second living room, Laundry room Please note: The home is listed with 6 bedrooms. The downstairs bunk area is open to the living room and offers additional sleeping space. Important Policies Occupancy: No more than 12 adults. No unregistered guests. Pets: Allowed only with prior approval and agreement to our pet policy. A pet fee applies. Parking: Limit of 4 off-street parking spaces. Noise & Parties: No loud music, events, or late-night gatherings. Noise must be kept to a minimum in line with the town’s Good Neighbor Policy. This house may not be used as a host property for larger group events or gatherings, including those staying at the John Carver Inn. Security: Exterior surveillance monitors compliance with policies. Summer check-out is 10:00 AM (June 15 to Labor Day) to allow enough time for cleaning and same-day turnovers during our busiest season. With high demand and limited cleaners, this helps ensure the property is ready and up to standard for incoming guests. Guests must follow check-out procedures including: Stripping beds Starting one load of laundry Running the dishwasher Taking out all trash (limited to 2 bins) Please note: Trash and recycling must be separated and bins not overfilled. Historical Significance This home is located on the original site of the Plymouth Settlement—just steps away from where the Pilgrims built their forts and homes, and where they first met Squanto. You’ll be staying on the very hill where much of America’s early history began. Additional Notes Rates vary based on season, holidays, and events. Minimum night stays may apply during peak times. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for a fee ($50–$200), depending on cleaner availability. Please inquire in advance. POOL is NOT on property and not included in your stay. you need to buy day passes for the water park at the John Carver Hotel Walk to Town and Nelson Park about a mile. Drive to Plymouth Long beach with paid parking. Other things to note May require 2-3 night min stays for certain peak weekends, holidays... May need to add additional fees if requesting a 1 night stay. Rates may change based on seasonality and manual pricing. Our property doesn’t have charging capabilities for electric vehicles however you may be able to use the outdoor outlet. Please make sure to get our approval prior so we can monitor in case of any issues and the fee will be $15/night. Since we use independent cleaner and maintenance companies that make their own schedule, we cannot guarantee an early check in or late check out. If you wish to request an early or late check in/out, please reach out the day of your arrival or departure. The fee for a 2-hour early check-in is $200, and the same applies for a 2-hour late check-out, if available, to coordinate with the cleaner and maintenance companies to adjust their schedules. We often have same day check in and out, so if you would like to secure an early check in or late check out in advance, it will require us to block and adjust the rate for an additional night. Surveillance cameras of the back yard /exterior monitor good neighbor policy/no events/additional guests. We may require a community deposit for your stay to make sure the community regulations are followed.
