When you’re ready to simply relax at your vacation home, you will enjoy a fully outfitted kitchen with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. There are two gated, heated pools – each with chaise lounge chairs, sun umbrellas and a hot tub. One pool is directly across a private road to this unit. The other pool area includes a fitness room. When you’re ready to expand your adventure beyond the Waikoloa Beach Resort, a 10-minute drive north brings you to the neighboring Mauna Lani Resort where you can golf, visit their picturesque tidal fish ponds or soak up the sun at 49 Black Sand Beach – also a great place to snorkel. A little further north is the Hapuna Beach State Park, which has a mile long white sand beach. A 15-minute drive south of the Waikoloa Resort can take you to the beautiful Kua Bay Beach where there are plentiful waves for boogie boarding. Here you can also hike up a nearby cinder cone for panoramic island/ocean views. The Big Island offers numerous half and full day guided tours ranging from snorkeling, fishing and sunset cruises, to sightseeing at the Volcanoes National Park. Information for these outings can be found online and at the nearby shopping centers.
