Kayaking, biking, hiking, 2 vineyards within minutes, and wonderful farms, markets and towns close by. Inside enjoy 2 fireplaces, central air, jacuzzi tub and state of the art kitchen. Perfect for friends or family and easy access from the city. The space The property, farmhouse, and outbuildings are listed as both National Historic and New Jersey landmarks. The beautifully renovated 1840s farmhouse has 4 bedrooms with a king, 2 queens, and double bed. There are 2 queen-sized inflatable quality mattresses for additional guests. Large master with walk in closet and large bathroom. other three bedrooms (7' x 12.5', 9.5' × 13.5', 11.25 x 13') served by one large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. Smallest bedroom as decorative curtain in doorway (no solid door). Two fireplaces for coziness in the living/dining room in colder months, and 3 sets of French Doors throughout the house provide light and air in warmer months; the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including 1 oven, 1 combo microwave/oven, steamer oven, induction stove top, warming drawer, dishwasher, wine fridge and wet bar. Outdoors you have both a kettle Weber grill as well as a Yoder smoker. One half bath downstairs. Please remember that part-and-parcel with the charm of a semi-rural, historic property is, well, it's semi-ruralness: I can have a cleaning crew come through at 12 and by 3 our little friends will again have begun to spin webs in the corners :) Guest access Guests are encouraged to wander this expansive, idyllic natural setting. However, PLEASE take caution when exploring the fenced off horse paddocks as these areas still hold some hidden treasures of the past: large pieces of wood, rusted metal objects, etc. The rare and magnificent, stately barn and wood-working shed are to be enjoyed with your eyes and minds from outside their old, creaky doors. The interiors are off limits. Their only function now is to serve as props of antiquity on nature's stage. But you are welcomed to walk around them, touch the time-worn wood, smell the age, listen to the wind whistling through their cracks. This is what you're here for.
