It’s only 15 minutes to Main Street, Hyannis with bars, restaurants, shops, and ferries to both Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Provincetown is an hour away, while Chatham and Falmouth are closer to 30 minutes. Beaches on both the north and south side are even closer, including Craigsville and Sandy Neck. The house is surrounded by woods and the yard is completely private except for the wide array of beautiful birds at the feeder. The yard is great for playing games while having a fire or laying in the sun. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living room is full of board games and a massive TV for movies. The house has 1.5 baths and two main guest rooms and a smaller, nautically themed room with a full-sized bed. The couch pulls out to a queen, but is also comfortable for one without converting. You will have access to the entire house minus the master bedroom and locked owner closets. We do not live on the property, but we are often nearby and always available via phone, text or messaging. You will communicate with me for bookings, but you check in on your own. You will have an access code that will be valid only for your length of stay. The house is close to the P&B bus stop in Barnstable and a quick cab ride to Hyannis, but in general its best to drive here. Please be accurate with the number of people in your booking. If it changes between when you booked and when the time arrives, please message me to adjust the booking. We DO have security cameras outside and a security alarm in the master bedroom which remains locked during your stay. We do allow children, but the house has never been child proofed. Keep this in mind if you are planning to stay with young ones. Anyone sleeping in the common areas should bring eye covers as it can get bright in the morning. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the house AT ALL due to severe owner allergies. Ashtrays are provided outside. We typically don't allow pets, but we make exceptions on a case by case basis.
