Unbelievable Ocean View... that's what you'll have at the Mana Kai. The Mana Kai Resort is located right on one of the nicest beaches on Maui, Keawakapu Beach. The sand is luxurious and the ocean is warm and clear. Great snorkeling is just steps from the Mana Kai. Our condo is a fantastic 2 BR, 2 BA Ocean Front unit, with 2 Kings and a queen sized sofa bed. The condo has been upgraded with Central AC even though the Mana Kai's Beach Front location affords comfortable temperatures year round. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and a large lanai with that unbeatable view! It's not at all unusual for guests to spot humpback whales in the winter and turtles year round from the lanai. Beach and bath towels are provided. In addition, the condo has free high speed WiFi internet access, free long distant calling to the US and Canada and a free reserved parking spot. *Note about Restaurant Closure and Renovation A nice feature at the Mana Kai was the restaurant located on the first floor, which was previously the Five Palms. On March 6th, 2023 construction commenced on the items that are required to facilitate the construction of a replacement to the Five Palms. That replacement will be a very nice restaurant owned by the Merriman Group. They have a few well known restaurants in Hawaii and this is an exciting change. The downside is that this also means that at times there may be renovation noise coming from the first floor during the day, Monday through Friday. The pool will remain open, however the fitness center will be closed during this project. Renovations are expected to continue until the restaurant is planned to open in the fall of 2024. So, if you are staying at the Mana Kai from March 6th through the end of 2024 and you are planning on midday naps, etc, this renovation may affect your plans, so we want to give you a “heads up”. On the other hand, if you'll be out during the daytime hours, it's an opportunity to stay at the Mana Kai while saving some money due to lower rates during this time period. The renovation is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday during daytime hours only. The good news is that reduced rates are now in place and are already reflected in the prices on this VRBO ad. So if you put your dates in and get a quote, that quote already includes the restaurant renovation discount. The Mana Kai Resort has many conveniences such as a deli and general store on the ground floor as well as a beach equipment rental shop which has snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, bikes, etc...
